throwking 16 Report post Posted February 16, 2012 I heard that there is not going to be a hospitality room for coaches this year? I got the impression that it's the arena that won't allow it. Anybody know if it's true or what's up with that? The hospitality room for state has always been awful anyway. Just to much money for them to turn away. As for not taking anything in, Frankfort had the same rules. bigedcoach 27 Report post Posted February 17, 2012 Sad, every year hospitality at the state wrestling tournament is a joke, except for track, there is not a state tournament that requires a coach to actually coach all day. You cant leave the team behind to get a quick bite, or that the pay that we get as coaches (if we get paid) we have to put out this much more exspence of something for a couple of days. If everyone wants the sport of Wrestling to be respected in Kentucky, the "Animal House" behavior needs to be eliminated! Let's focus on the athletes out on the Mats and not the children up in the stands. Go to any other State and watch thier finals and you will see the fans are there for one purpose.
