Q: Why don't the kids just wrestle in the weight classes, they weight? I don't see the need to give a weight allowance, does the super 32 give a weight allowance? So what if he is in the next weight class up, from what he might wrestle in regular season. Either way sound like a great event, hop to see a big turn out.

Most of our youth wrestlers are multi sports kids: Wrestling, Football, Soccer, Baseball ect. It would be interesting to track current youth wrestlers through high school and see how many of them drop out of wrestling to focus on another sport. I know the elite wrestlers (kids) will stay with or choose wrestling, it’s all the other kids that fill up a line-up to make a solid tm and program. Until we get other coaches (football) and administrations to understand the benefits of wrestling and multi-sport kids, programs may still struggle to keep #’s at the high school level. Just saying…

Looks like only two - #4 upsets against #1. The fewest In several state tournaments.... Had two first rd matches go to OT, but #1 win's... Good Luck to all....

if I could predicted that, I'd had won power ball LOL, normally a few with the big guys and a couple from the stronger regions. Someone will make a mistake and get head-armed. Was more about the under/over

Will the Middle School State be posted on track wrestling?

Have you provide this input prior Ranger's updates? Which kids has won, lost or not wrestling? If not, last I knew Ranger doesn't attend every event in the state and isn't a mind reader.... Provide feedback that will improve the system, not just complaining about which kid isn't ranked or to high or not high enough....

The USA Card requires a background check to rule out: Drug, Sex Offender, Domestic Violence, Alcohol related incidence’s… Do you want one of these people coaching your kid? The CPR and first aid course (basic) is to protect the kids and coaches. The Good Samaritan stuff rule gets tossed out the window once somebody gets hurt and someone does something wrong causing more damage. Ya is it petty, does it take some effort on the coaches part to meet the requirements, yes. But it safe guards kids, coaches and programs should an unfortunate incident happen. There are lawyers just searching the news looking to jump on any incident, fast than those buying power ball tickets last night. If you’re a coach you’ve know about this since the season began, don’t put yourself at undue risk for that parent or lawyer looking to hit a jackpot….quit putting it off and get it done and if you’re not a coach what’s the problem…
