DReed951 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2008 In the Final dual to determine 1st and 2nd place at Oldham county, Seneca defeated Larue County by 7 points. Seneca high school is undefeated in duals with a record now standing at 7-0. Seneca was missing 4 of their normal varsity starters.Look for Seneca to become a surprising team for this season. With all wrestlers healthy, they will be even better than they showed this past Saturday at Oldham county.

I wouldn't be too suprised if they won state duals this year.

enthusiast 14 Report post Posted December 8, 2008 I think everyone needs to watch out for Jordan Murphy. He wrestled like a mad dog released. I wouldn't say that the Murphy-Norbury match was very good as far as competition. Murphy completely controlled the entire match. I believe he even let Norbury up 2 or 3 times just to take him down again. This match looked like a man against a boy!

I'd expect to see him down by the end of this week if all goes well. As for Casa Felix De Valle he was at 119 and may have bumped up once to 125. He didn't look to big though, just had a little pudge on him. :-D

Others may drop a weight or two as well, just have to wait and see who goes where for LaRue.This was a great early season dual, intense and electric. A good early season dual and one that could have gone either way. Both teams had kids out for various reasons (Sen didn't have Warra and LaRue was without Ray). If they meet at state duals, this will be fun to watch again!!Congrats to both teams.
