Jeremy Bollman from Oldham County has signed with the University of the Cumberlands
-
Is it the same as that conner cougar open or is it different? And if so when and where is it?
-
jeff smith, and jeremy bollman from oldham county
-
Jeff smith got a good draw, considering he already beat tennyson this yearand after he does it again it looks like he will make it to the quarter finals/semi finals to whenever he has to wrestle stafford
-
grant johnson of oldham county who placed 4th at regions at 130 hurt his knee at regions and will not be going.
-
either way, they both got the raw end of the deal on the random draw. they got the toughest 2 seed and 3 seed respectively, and then whoever wins has to wrestle brown who will probably win it all.

Stand-up, I wondered the same thing about Thomson not getting up. Sounds like there are different opinions of what happened as there should be due to how it was viewed. I hope at the state tournament, the officials will take a close look at ""aggressive"" actions by the wrestlers and put a stop to it. Intentionally trying to hurt or payback another wrestler on the mat, as I feel in this case, in my opinion deserves being disqualified..There is no room in this sport for those type of actions as the sport itself is and can be dangerous. I have no hard feelings towards either wrestler. I would feel the same if the situation was reversed or were any other wrestlers. If it had been my son, he would have been done for the year..I personally don't tolerate the tactic.

If nobody wants to talk about it, then, why ?? Davis was winning and would have probably won the match unless he made a mistake. As a parent from another team (not north oldham) who was watching the match and saw what happened, they were not just cross faces. In my opinion he lost his composure from a headlock that Thomson put on him that appeared to be restricting his air intake seconds earlier in the match. He hit Thomson with the left close fist and then even harder with the right closed fist. A returning State Champ needs to have the composure to compete in these situations, as does any highschool wrestler who gets on the mat. The official was not able to see what happen, but believe me, from the stands several people did including myself. He(Davis) should have been tossed for that action in my opinion and not allowed to compete at state. As for Thomson not getting back up, I am not so sure if the injury was valid or not, but if the official is going to allow these actions on the mat and not send a message to all the kids it will not be tolerated, then at least awarding the match to Thomson was just . These kids need to remember this is not MMA and it is highschool wrestling. There are bigger things in life and more experiences these kids will face in their lives and not wanting to discuss and talk about it is only sweeping under the rug when incidents like this does occur. I hope he learns a valuable lesson from his actions as well as officials start paying closer attention to these actions and discipline accordingly.

Ichiro chiba and jeremy Bollman both from oldham county have a 5 second pin this season
-
Menard won the last time at the dragon, I'm not sure what their record is but knight also beat him earlier in the year

Does anyone know of any tournaments that are still going on this weekend? If so please post it up here because Oldham county is looking for a tournament this weekend now that the state duals are canceled
-
does anyone kno if the Henry Clay high school has power? and if they dont, will it be canceled, or moved to a different school?
-
whats the status on souths injuries? looked like brown hurt his elbow and forrest broke his finger and houchens hurt his knee. hope that houchens isnt serious bc he had a rele good chance of winning state this year
-
What is the format for the state duals anyway? Are they in 4 pools, they round robin then match up AB and CD then wrestle again for championship? This sounds like they way it would be conducted but just checking.
