yea from what ive seen most people are like 15-20 pounds over atm.
-
Most schools conditioning has begun and it's time for everyone to start stepping on the scales. So I was just curious to see what some of you weigh now compared to what you are trying to get down to
-
Yea that's what I mainly wanna find
-
Alright cool. Cause Im pretty sure TofC is going on this weekend also, so I didn't really know what kind of turn out this will have.

Seneca wrestling club is starting Monday, April 27th. We will be having practice from 6-8 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Everyone is welcome and all you need is a USA wrestling card. The Seneca wrestling room is along the hallway that connects the small and large gyms. The room is also connected to the weightroom, (very easy to find) Thank you and we hope to see you there!

I couldn't agree more with that post

Are most of the participants from in state? Also I know it's hard to predict, but how many wrestlers do you think there will be on average for each weight class?
-
Well I hope they do. These tournaments are good for anyone just from some competition and experience.
-
Anyone know of a good website to buy singlets individually? Most of the sites I've seen only sell them in teams.
-
Hopefully these off season tournaments start getting more organized. I love the fact that they're having these almost every weekend, but I agree with you guys. It really takes the fun away if you're constantly wondering when your match is up and when you have to run all over the place asking "Hey, do you know if i've been called for my match yet?!"

Yea I know there were plenty of kids at least close to that weight. For instance, Felix Casa de Valle (112) came with me from Seneca. But I'd say there were at least 7 or 8 kids around 90-119 or so.

I agree. I just got back from a practice there and I have to say it went very smooth. Good instruction by a variety of coaches, lots of different wrestlers (elem-high) for pretty much everyone to practice with, and a good room to practice in. There were kids from Seneca, a few from St. X, couple manual kids, so they're bringing in a nice mix of wrestlers. If anyone is looking for an open mat in the Louisville area, this would be a good choice IMO.

I'm guessing they're just gonna keep combining weight classes at these tournaments due to the lack of participants at each weight. Hopefully these things will start to catch on (and start getting ran better) so everyone can get some more competition.

Who is going, and at what weight class & age group?
