coachteater 70 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 Madison central giving up 2 weights. No 113 and 195 out. Could make a difference. Also a few of madison centrals studs are in some tough weights. It will be interesting
Alwaysready 1 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 Woodford is also going to the dragon Invitational at South Oldham? Are they bringing there a team?
Nike Man 292 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 No 113 and 195 for MC will make a difference. Totally over looked Simon Kenton on the list. They will be a force to reckon with as well.

TheLuchadore 10 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 106lb should be quite interesting. I put Mattingly ahead of most of those guys with him and Deck being an exciting finals. 113lb Brandon Miller is my odds on favorite, been a very strong wrestler when he is at this weight 120lb Insko vs. Roth vs. Tucker should be a battle. 126lb Excited to see Deck vs. Moore, Moore looks tough this year. 132lb Wyatt, Castellano, Metcalf, Ellings should be fun to see 138lb Regalado vs. Davis should be a heck of a match 145lb Lawrence vs. McManus should be a tough one. 152lb A lot of ranked guys, Hayes is my pick here 160lb Gray vs. Smith, Smith should be able to win here but hoping to see a competitive match 170lb Cornett vs. the field here, you take a guess who wins... 182lb Jackson vs. Blanton here, you choose 195lb Steven vs. the field, not much competition here 220lb Miller, Underwood, or Boies 285lb Shelton vs. Ruber vs. Holliday heavyweights are too tough to guess Team: Top 4 no particular order because it will be a mess. LaRue, Simon Kenton, Madison Central, Walton Verona

CradleKY 132 Report post Posted January 23, 2017 19 hours ago, Zeus said: Any comments on Tylan Tucker at 120? He beat a freshman from Simon Kenton with 13 losses 8-3 in the quarters then lost to Roth in OT (Roth was pinned in finals by Insko). In consos Tucker beat a freshman from Harrison with 10 losses 9-5 then beat Miller from Taylor Co. 3-2 to take 3rd. Coming back from injury in a sport like wrestling is so difficult. Aside from conditioning a wrestler must overcome being tentative and anxious on the mat. I suspect Tylan will take a little time to hit peak performance but will be ready to battle by 3rd week of February. Bigger question lies with what happens to the lineup?

In consos Tucker beat a freshman from Harrison with 10 losses 9-5 then beat Miller from Taylor Co. 3-2 to take 3rd. In one tournament back at 120 he had more losses than all of last season and a couple close matches too with wrestlers well below his accomplishments. I'm not sure what happens sometimes when things get put into track, but the Woodford 120 kid took the Walton Verona kid into OT. Roth hit a nice shot on the whistle and put Tucker on his butt. Was an outstanding match though. The round robin for Woodford at 113-126 must be a nice sight for their coaches.
