Question, how was Blanton from Johnson Central a 7th grader this year when I know he wrestled Jeremiah Kline at high school state last year.

Edit: nvm, I looked at the state brackets and it says he was in 8th grade.

In the 170's Parriman is a senior

In the 182's Look out for Jake Fooks as well and a couple of others that I know of. I would think by next year that Matthews will go 195 and Turner 182 but it just depends on how much they gain for football. This is just a hunch of course following their last 2 year patterns.

If Ryder and Meiman both stay at 170 which isn't easy there both good size kids I look for them to be the front runners Along with Mink and if Turner could stay at 170 he very well could take it as well. Also depends if Courtney stays 160 or moves up.. Will be an interesting off season.

Connors Jacob Warwick could make some noise here

as well in the 170's

Very Early predictions on top 15 for 170 and 182's I'm probably going to do 195's as well. This is a start so no yelling lol ......This is based on what I think could happen with kids changing weights etc.. If your little Johnny isn't on the list ... no big deal . This is just a preview basically.  I mean there are very few region 4 wrestlers on this list that are power schools with big teams just lost so many to graduation so look for those guys to jump in here as well.

Johnny Meiman Ryle
Alex Macintosh Old Co
Ki Ryder Ft Camp
Casey Mink Wayne Co
M Smith Moore
Jonah Shacklet Meade
jacob Warwick Connor
Zack Roland Montgomery County
Colin Portman N Oldham

Sam Schwachter Scott
Lucas Miozza Trinity
Kane Morris Union County
Zackery Sparks N Bullitt
Bret Rafn C Hardin

182's

Dustin turner CC or Eli Matthews either one I'd put number 1 here but I believe it will be Turner

I've heard through the rumor mill that Kane Morris is dropping to 160 and Devin Smith is dropping to 170

I'm sure you would know, these preseason rankings arn't easy lol ... however noted ... smith could do well at 170's .. the 170's as strong as I feel it was this past year will be not as strong this year but Courtney and a few others could bump up so it's a hard guess at this point.

Didnt Saunders beat both fooks and smith at state? Why rank him behind them?

I looked at there seasons overall and sometimes when you lose in the winners bracket it takes the steam out of you and you have a bad match. I'm taking nothing away from Saunders who went on a fantastic run in the 182's and he could very easily be in the top 2 and you have made a good point it was just recently head to head either way it's something I'll watch. lets say a 4 way tie for 2-5th right now. It just looks as Saunders had a few bad beats during the season to where I don't think Fooks would have lost to those guys but he did beat them when it counted. Either way it will be fun to watch. Just consider this a preview more than rankings as I really believe that there will be a lot more wrestlers enter the picture.

If Darrius Parrott, Junior, N Hardin - gets his head straight he should also be in the Mix. He would have placed this year!!
