Class of 2013

Recommended Posts

Out of region 1-

Jayce Carr, Gabe Ervin Jeff Wurth are a couple off the top of my head from Union. Wade Willen, Cameron Montgomery and Colton Hall should make some noise from UHA. Kory Polley from Christian County too.

the one most dominant senior next year in the class of 2013 will by far be Stephen Meyers! Him nor his brother will have any competition in the state of kentucky until they graduate!

ENOUGH SAID!

Otto you seem to know a bit about the Oh wrestlers interesting results this year , Collica ,Byrd, Newhouse , Ward ,Bright ,all did well all the former prodigy kids did well also Danichek and the Moe kids did well , I wonder if people realize just how important Root and his Prodigy club was , and I wonder if people realize how many of those D1 state champs have lost to or placed behind a new Ky state champ , just a reply to all the hater comment made about a kid moving to KY .

Interesting group of wrestlers this year. I felt, overall (statewide) the talent level was a little down. Not much, but down nonetheless. As for Prodigy, it was a shame the way the southwest has squandered such an incredible opportunity to improve. There seems to be an ever present feeling of inferiority in the southwest. This plays out at the state tourney, the results speak for themselves. Yappi abounds with threads of "How do we improve SW Ohio wrestling". These same guys bickered about Prodigy. A world class opportunity that was wasted on many because they couldn't get along. That is my take on it, albeit from another corner of the state. I do believe you were in on some crap with Root though, no? At one point you referred to him as Coach Rot and blasted him and Springboro high school on Yappi. True enough, I believe Stephen beat a number of wrestlers that placed high. Right now, I do not believe he could beat Bright or Ward. Given a year on the mat Stephen will regain his form (that you admit he lost) and could beat anybody in the state. Looking at this years crop of DI 195s and 220s, I think Austin places top four in either class. "Hater comments"? Never. I have done nothing but praise the boys, and will continue to do so. Perhaps you are confusing my calling you out regarding the fact that you have caused a lot of unnecessary stress and have tried to play yourself the innocent victim. Multiple moves from Moeller-to-Reading-to-Springboro-to-Grant Co-to-Campbell Co all the while blaming the previous school looks fishy, yes? Being banned from messageboards like this, and escorted from gyms looks fishy, yes? So, no hater comments ever. Just reactionary comments to your difficult to decipher big time wrasslin boasting. Wrestling is the most honorable of sports. We are taught to win humbly and lose with grace. Your boys do this. I would guess they learned this from you. Your boys are well mannered. I would guess they learned this from you. It is in you to do the same. The question is can you?

I wasnt referring to you making hater comment my friend I was referring to some on yappi and Stephen has beaten bright ward collical

Numerous times and placed higher than them in HS tourneys thu were in together and both my boys have beaten Byrd in the past , of course people forget Ward somehow missing A match with Stephen last yr at Swowca because he bumped and his coaches called me the night before to call a truce they didn't want any of Stepen ,

And we're hoping I would bring the boys back as for springboro and Root there is so much more to te story than anyone will ever know we were the only family to move to boro for Root and prodigy and when they booted him they booted

Us soon after for going to tournys with him , as for the HS stuff Ryan would tell you himself he would have done the exact thing I did as you can see regardless I have been his biggest fan we have had ups and downs and I respect him most of all because when confronted he can admitt he was wrong at times and that is rare in this world of sports ,Moellers biggest mistake was rejecting him he would have created a dynasty there unlike any ever in the state I know him his ideas his charisma and he thinks outside the box and it scares people he and his dad opened the wrestling world up to many kids and had he kept my boys NO one anywhere would beat them if he coached a team and had a club in KY in less than 4 yrs no one would ever talk smack about ky wrestling ever again . Still doesn't change what I have ever said or done we do in life what is best for I

Our family's and those we love ,

Of course Stephen is rusty he had no great partners all yr and was off the Matt most of it he actually stunned me at state he actually couldn't have done any better regardless no need to state the obvious hopefully he returns to form by state next yr he will be a 4 x place hopefully a 3 x champ and maybe pick up an AA or 2 that would be one heckuva career and not many kids have beaten the calibre of kids he has not only oh kids but across the country ,

As for Austin I like to think he would have placed high in oh with Root he would have been a state champ guaranteed and he will beat every kid in Oh by his senior year regardless he wants to do IRon man win or lose he will win it as well I know a little about wrestling and a lot about Austin picture Max Thomuseitt bigger stronger and with more reach knowledge and ability then make him stronger that's Where Austin will be . Being a kid hanging in Jordan's room watchiing Thomuseitt and David Taylor probably gives kids complexes but Austin visualizes the best of everyone then strives for it ,hate to beat a dead horse but hanging out at Ironman and watching Austin talk to Thomuseitt when he was little it was obvious who he wanted to be like that guy was scary unbelievably powerful KY would have worshipped him he was awesome and underrated ,
