Nice work on region 3. I would say that Briant Wilson will dominate at 171. He is more focused on wrestling this year and works out with me everyday. He is a senior this year and wants to make some noise. He will definently be a standout.

If Nickel keeps going at the rate he is, he might be a HWY next year   Last year he was a light 215 (he weighed around 200-205).  This year he will be right at the 215 mark.  By the way, Nickel did pin Payne in the 1st period last year.  We bumped him up in a dual against Iroquois because we didn't have a HWY and they didn't have a 215.  As for no one beating James Payne, that is a real big stretch.  He improved a lot last year, but still has a ways to go, even in Region 3, to be "unbeatable".  Come on now!  The only 2 wrestlers in Region 3 who might be considered unbeatable by other Region 3 competition are Choate and Nickel.  Those 2 are it.  Good luck to all.  The season is almost officially here.

Briant Wilson. He will be at 171. He wrestled some of last year, but he wasnt as in shape as he is now and his head wasnt in the game(im not getting into it but he was having some problems). He will definently be an underdawg this year and has a shot at placing at state if he keeps his attitude the way it is. Hes ready for his senior year and is alot less hardheaded.
