David Sahms from Fort Campbell beat Jeremy Burnham from Christian County today

Robbie Sahms is no longer wrestling, he was replaced at 130 by Zach Green. Who beat Keaton Starks from Calloway today, and placed 5th at regionals last year were he beat Zack Pittman from Paducah

and Tre Such beat Christian County's 140 today.

can u have 2 wrestlers wrestle one weight?

Yes, but only the varsity guys get team points. But they let the JV's from the city teams wrestle in the city tournament. And alot of Tates Creeks JV's did very well.

no, jvs cannot compete in the regional tournament. although it wouldnt be such a bad idea to let them. and if they made it to state, they could also be unattached. sounds like a good idea, anyone see any problems with it?

No, there are plenty of jv wrestlers that can compete on the varsity level.

really, what about wrestlers that are stuck behind great wrestlers. i can recall a jv last year that was jv to a guy ranked 3rd in the state. the kid had beat the #6 guy the # 9,12,14,, and a few others, anyway his record ended up being 28-6 in just varsity wins ( not counting jv tournys) the kids only losses were to the top 4 wrestlers.

what i was saying is why cant jvs wrestle unnattached at region and state, as long as the regional bracket has spots open for them?

It's pretty cool in NAIA you have your 10 starters but you can take 12 wrestlers to wrestle to qualify for nationals. So if you have 2 amazing 133 pounders and 2 tough heavys you can carry both to the national qualifier.
