I haven't thought so all year but I now believe Lenz is gonna win 112.  Thought Bradbury to be unbeatable but after the dragon I think Lenz will beat him.  Lost 5 matches this year.  Zarth at 119, Logsdon at 119, Reitz kid at 125 and Campbell kid at 125.  The match aginst Joseph was a bloodletting with lip split in 2 places and busted nose.  Still no excuse for him to lose that but he spotted quite a few pounds in all of those matches.  I really think he is focused and will be ready to roll at state.IMO

he got worked by zarth who beat bradbury in over time. bradbury will easily handle lenz, in fact i think troxell and leavell will too.

I absolutely agree Ranger.  Chiba is about as dominant as you can get for the 1st 2 minutes.  If a fairly decent wrestler can get past the 1st period with him, he runs out of gas so quickly he becomes very vulnerable.  Of course, as always, a lot depends on the draw at state.  If 3 of those 4 get caught on the same side of the bracket it will definitely make for an easier run for the 1 who isn't on that side of the bracket.

119 looks interesting with Zarth and Osbourne

Smart, I agree with you. It's exciting to watch who is coming on strong, who maybe already peaked, and who will do something surprising. You didn't mention 140, but the Shotwell-Davis match-up is much anticipated. And some wrestlers, like Thomson of North Oldham, have been keeping a low profile. Last year, if I was certain about anybody, it was Anthony Bailey from Ft. Knox at heavyweight. Whiting didn't meet him in the finals, but I don't think it would have mattered. This year I think Whiting has less competition, but you never know.

You are right I couldn't remember all the classes while i was typing, but 140 definitely could be an interesting matchup, I just hope they don't end up on the same side of the bracket.  that always dictates so much at state, but I'm looking forward to Regionals and States, a slip up at Regionals can always make for some interesting 2nd round matchups at state as well.  Whititng doesn't look like he has much competition at heavyweight, but the kid at JH seems to be wrestling well, but I read that he was injured last week so I hope it's not serious.  189 seems like it could be pretty interesting as well, from reading the posts it seemed like the kid from Ryle was putting it on him pretty good before the injury to Houchens

My honest opinion in the 160 class and 103 the Larue county boys are being over looked Bernard ray is a beast of compacted muscle and Hellacious technique i think ....OLD,,, Harrison is about to be OLD news  Bernard is a freshman and is in the finals with the big dog or what ever u guys call him. And Nick Paden is not so much muscle but a whole lot of technique fahy is good but Paden is tired of being second rated the day of reckoning has come from Larue County so get ready. :-D

Personally, I wouldnt be the least bit surprised if it was Courtney and Brunig in the finals.Brunig is as strong as they come and he has pretty good technique too. Although he may not be a compacted muscle,I still wouldnt be surprised.
