Happy Pappy 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Who's going 30 and who's going to be able to beat my other son Ozzy Parker? Let's hear ya!
Just Wrestle 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Is Scott at 30 or 35. He might be the only one?
Happy Pappy 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Scott is at 125 I think and if so I don't know if there's anyone else for him except maybe Thuneman.
Tiger06 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Coleman??? I know he had a bad showing at state, but he's proved he can compete with the best.
Just Wrestle 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Are you saying Thuneman is at 130? I'm not sure. He's tuff also, what is his and Parker's head to head record. I know they've all wrestled before(Parker, Scott, Thuneman, Parks, Coleman).
ROTC112 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 I think Malcolm Jackson could give Ozzy a run since after I saw what he did to Bryant.
LOWsingle140 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 well ozzy could beat bryant.. soo.. it would be a close match.
grapplinfan 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 No way Thuneman is going 130, a pretty reliable guy said he'll be lucky to go 135.
grapplinfan 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 I would say that leaves Parker with the bullseye on him. Jackson is good, but until i know more about him i gotta put my money on a state runner up with no returning state champ at that weight.
BlastDouble35 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 I have got to go with my cousin ozzy. He is so quick and he is a takedown machine. I dont see anyone beating him, although i think jackson would prolly give him a good match.
Just Wrestle 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 So we have Warner, Scott and Parks at 125? Not bad? Early in the year it's looking like 145 and 125 are really tuff weight classes.
State53 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 You can throw coleman in at 125 or 130 depending on what he feels best at. He has a honest shot at either one. Just as long as the lights, and cameras dont get to him this year lol.
invincy33 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 ozzy smith is a good wrestler, but i'm extremely impressed with the improvement of malcom jackson. I'm not saying one will beat the other just yet, but this may be one of the best matches of the year when it happens ( if it does).
grapplinfan 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 You can throw coleman in at 125 or 130 depending on what he feels best at. He has a honest shot at either one. Just as long as the lights' date=' and cameras dont get to him this year lol.[/quote'] Coleman is a beast .... but lets not take anything away from the guys that beat him. They finished 1st and 4th, and both matches were close (5-3, 7-6). He couldn't have wrestled hideously bad considering he hung with two top 5 placers, i'd call him more or less the victim of a really tough draw. Shows how deep that class went last year. I totally agree though, he's a contender this year and deserves the respect of a top wrestler.
ScHs_135 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2006 Brandon Howard is now at 130.
slide_by08 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2006 Brandon Howard is now at 130. Why did Howard decide to go 130?
ScHs_135 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 Cause Murton is at 135..and plus it fills more weight classes up for our team, a couple of us dropped a weight class and we have alot more classes filled up now. 103- Goble 119-Stepp 125-Marcum 130-Howard 135-Musick 140-Jose 145-Burgess 152-Waller 160-Dials 171-Kelly 189-Slone 215-Chaffin 275-Wells Looks like we might just when region 8. chief125 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 well u have the same chance at getting 2nd at 135 and 130. 130 is tougher to me than 135 my opinion what do you think ?
Ranger123 43 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 chief - I'll give you the top couple of guys are really, really good at 130, but come on, let's be realistic. They are not Jacob Murton. And I'm not saying he is unbeatable. I'm just saying 999 out of 1000 matches he's going to win easily. Not so for Parker and Peace.
grappler-of-old 44 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 I would have to agree with Chief. It is just as easy to place second at 135 than 130. After Murton you have Ashbrook and Miller. 130 After Peace you have Parker, Jackson, Coleman.
Ranger123 43 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 My guess is that Howard's goal is to win, not place 2nd.
breaking bones 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 I think he has a better chance at winning 130 than 135. Not a good chance but a whole lot better chance.
chief125 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 I don't see it happening
breaking bones 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 i agree with cheif he won't win at either class
Ranger123 43 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 I agree as well, but my point was that he has a better shot at 130, though slim.
