no way, hes way to big i have seen him weigh in before at 119 hes not going to be 112 without killing himself

I train with the kid. He weighs like 114 and he's losing weight. He's not starving himself. I thought the same thing you did. But his weight is where it should be if he wants to go twelve. I think he could get down easily by next season. He has plenty of time to cut the weight.

Also, Howard Brim is seriously considering wrestling 171 next season, Ranger. So, for your next rankings, you can move him if you want.

Hes probably gonna wrestle 119 for the first half of the year, then wait until the 2 pounds come in. Im almost positive he'll be at 112.

How heavy is Brim getting..? At the clinic at Fern Creek he looked and felt really light to be considering wrestling 171 next year.

He usually weighs in the low to mid 60's. He can put on weight. You also have to consider his strategic angle too. Have you seen how stacked 160 is? lol. He wants to place and place high. I think, if he works like he has been, that he can achieve this.

ATM21 said: tyler martin from hopkinsville beat cyle martinson in 112. he pinned him in the second or third period.

Will Hopkinsville even have a team next year? Who will be coaching them? Do you have any insight ATM21?

how does that team practice? at region all the wrestlers were really out of shape. they were dead by end of 2nd period.

Okay, Pat Lee came through for us so I better post an update.  Plus, I don't think I can sit on this any longer.  I went to top 25 (pretty suspect at some weights) with a few blanks on some.  Enjoy!

I'm sure Ryan Kelly has not beaten Mark Jones in two years, so what formula do you have that ranks him above the kid. The rankings should not reflect what we think will occur, but what has actually occured. That ranking continues to not make sence to me. If were are basing it off state finish, and head to head, then the results don't lie. I am refering to the comment about the formula and Woodford County, does this same premise not apply to other finishers?

Respectfully Submitted,

I have modified this message below. Sorry for the inconvience.

Did you watch their match at state? I did and I would put him at #1.

I watched the match, and the match was closer than you all think. Jones scored 4 points, all of which were negated due to Kelly's injury time when he yelled out twice. The ref was right to stop the match at the time, but not to award the points, i don't agree with. I do agree that Kelly was dictating the match, but not winning based on the points when you factor in everything that happened. I will reclarify my earlier statement, so you understand my point better. On paper Kelly has never beaten Jones, and just because we think we know or can predict what would of happened, how can we deny what actually occured. If the rankings are formula driven, what formula based on the records against each other yeilds a result ranking Kelly above Jones. Look at the logic of the numbers.

Yeah, I know. But I'm telling you it is all formula driven. It's not like I have a special Woodford County bonus point system. They actually have 4 "medalists" (Parks, Lewis, Courtney, and Sheehan) and 4 others scoring points.

After talkin' to him today and hearing his weight, I doubt Dakoda Choate will be 160. He will be no higher than 152. He may be as low as 140-145. Or atleast that's what he said.

Northington is 160 lbs of nothing but muscle. I see it being

145-Choate

152-Stengel

160-Northington

That's not definate but it looks like that's gonna be the best weights for those people.

ok first off shane white will be staying in middle school , in my opinion. he is still too young to step it up to the next level. He needs another Middle School state title. and having Blake Shehan ranked 7th is a real understatement.

Who were his big wins against last year?  I would put him 6th with Dillon in the 5th position. and Brownfield 7th.

I only saw him in two matches last season. Banks-first period fall [i'm pretty sure] and Ervin-[First period fall].
