Any updates on how Jacob is doing in his recovery?
-
Prayers from the Sheldon Clark Wrestling Family to a great kid.
-
Congratulations Bryce, great job!

Another problem is that coachs are not allowed to coach their kids at nationals or allowed to practice with them before going.
-
Where are you getting 2 years older? Most kids held back are young for their grade to start with. Seems more like catching up. If they play sports, they can't be any older than 18 when they start their senior year. I've not seen any 20 year old seniors playing sports.

Lets here from some wrestlers. Why do you pick a certain weight to wrestle? Most of the lower weights could go 2 to 3 weights from their normal or wrestling weight. Upper weights could go usually 2 different weights. Do you pick where you think you can best win state or find a harder weight to get tougher competition? This doesn't mean changing weights just for a tournament to get better competition. -

"Fell off" where do you get he fell off. He had only been on the mat for 6 weeks prior to state due to an injury. He lost one match at state. He lost one match at Grundy after being out for practice only 2 days. The kid was from Blacksburg VA who placed 3rd in the state. He lost 1 match at WSAZ which fields 50+ teams after only being out practicing 3 weeks. He lost 3 total matches for the year, all to highly ranked kids and was not wrestling at 100%. He also went 3-2 at nationals in Va beating several nationally ranked kids. He was one match from placing. -

Can someone list all the ky wrestlers and what they did. How many won more than they lost and who beat nationally ranked kids. Congrats to all of them.
-
Could go either weight. Natural weight 200 lbs.
-
In 2005 he was 14 yrs old. I don't think they are giving driving permits at that age.
-
And he will not be aged out. He will be 18 his senior year.

Most people don't know that Kelly had only been on the Mat 6 weeks before state. His 1st day of practice was 12/26. He suffered a torn MCL from football and was doubtful he would even get to wrestle this season. He has spent a total of 6 months in rehab since the state last year. 3 months rehab for his elbow and another 3 on his knee.

Any stats on stalling calls? I bet Ky set the national record for stalling calls. Did the refs make these calls all season? :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o
