Should be a great match first round during Larue vs John Hardin. Hotzclaw who beat the number guy at 182 vs BJ Carmen who took 3 @ 195 last year and cut down to 82 this year. Can't wait to see the results.

What about the first year wrestling team from taylor county? They have several strong kids that look very good to only have been in the sport for just over a month. I think taylor county will for sure be a team that will be a force in the kentucky wrestling world by the end of this season. Spencer adams has made leaps and bounds with those kids. Taylor county also has two girls on the team that no one should take lightly. I look forward to seeing several of these kids from taylor co. at state this year. For a first year program they look very good.

Taylor County is still working to get a full line up. We forfeited 5 weight classes. Spencer and the CU wrestlers ate working these kids hard. I think a lot of people will be surprised. We had one go 5-0 today.

*are not ate :)

It helps that they have CU helping them out.

Was talking to one coach yesterday and he told me there were seven or eight CU wrestlers at one of Taylor's practices last week.

And some of the kids looked pretty good for being a first-year program. They can only get better, especially if they keep the relationship with Campbellsville going.

It does help having cu in the back yard but from what I was told they have spencer adams that from what everyone is sayin is gonna take over that program next year. I was also told that the day they had 7 cu wrestlers helping them was a one time deal so far just wanted to work the kids. I think the relationship will stay strong if spencer adams takes over the program. What region is taylor county in?

I did TC first match of the year and from my view I was shocked that a few of the kids have only been on the mat for 4 weeks. First thing that I could tell is that these kids were and are being coached by a former college wrestler. Much of what they do is only seen on college mats or kids that spend a ton of time at camps to improve. Very impressed and just give that program a few years!!

I have heard a lot of coaches say that taylor county will be a stand out program in just a few seasons. I know they have a few guys that should make it to state this year just from what I have seen.
