Should be seeded like Middle School is at the least. Seed each regional champ. It would be simple and easy but the KHSAA won’t take an hour to do it or let the coaches do it

Wrestling opens doors. BUT if can’t walk through the door due to grades , you aren’t a viable athlete. JMO. Work hard in school.

yes starting next year they will be transitioning into D1 and wrestle in the ASUN conference. They do not host any camps and don’t believe they will this summer either and Coach Adams mostly recruits ohio wrestlers, but he does try to recruit some top Kentucky kids, especially if they’re a smart, hard working kid.

Overall, outstanding job by the KFWC, our KY coaches, and kids at both MS and Youth tournaments. I especially enjoyed the coach’s lounge with constant food and beverages. There was plenty of seating and the security staff was pleasant. I’d have to agree on the larger mat space for the Novice - Middle School Divisions at the Youth tournament. These ages have likely been wrestling middle school Saturday matches throughout the season. As a solution, I would suggest having the pee wee and bantam wrestle on mats divided in quarters, the intermediates wrestle on mats divided in half, and novice/MS divisions on full mats. Again, outstanding job by the KFWC. The MS parade of champions was a great experience for our kids. Thanks!!

You can not remove a weight class just because its weaker in one state. KY is still having issue filling brackets at the region level from top to bottom. Numbers are dropping across the board in male wrestling and you want to take away even more. I promise you being a prior 13 year wrestler out of PA there are plenty Junior/Senior wrestlers country wide that would put many 113/120 wrestlers down. This argument has no point what so ever or any beneficial reasoning behind it like alot of unessacary things brought up on here. Let the kids wrestle and enjoy the sport and stop trying to take away from the point and fun of it to them. Your a coach/parent be one.
