Region 6 seeds

Recommended Posts

I want to see if anyone bucks the Meyers from being seeded #1. I know there are a lot of you that say...head to head, record, so on and so on. Then after all that....there's common sense. Or should I say perceived common sense. Past accomplishments should probably get them where that should be seeded.

It would be stupid to not seed them. The whole point of seeding is to seperate the top athletes. If they ignore the Myers they could draw in anywhere and possilbly knock another top seed into the consos in the first round

It would be extremely stupid... to say the least.

Erdman

Owens/Maggard split 1-1

Skaggs

Adams

Spahr/Higgins never had a head to head, not sure on common

?

120:

Yenter

Parrot/Brown no clue on head to heads or common

?

126:

Ruschell

Fausz

?

(not sure where castellano is going???)

132:

Ahern

Harris gets 2 seed based on head to head

Woods

?

138:

Hamilton

? three way maybe between ryle dixie and walton

145:

Cooper

jones

?

152:

Lane Jones

Myers (if coaches use their brains/ if not unseeded?!?!?)

?

160:

Clark

Sowder

Turner

170:

Chamblee

Mathews

182:

Steele

Fischer

miller (head to head goes to scott over cc)

keeton/wolf (no clue on common)

?

220:

cornett

thompson

myers (no clue on common or head to head)

I would put stephan in over jones at 152

north from ryle the 4th at 120 (Castalano going 126)

Meimen the 3rd at 145

I was not sure on castellano, and completely forgot about meimen (did he win ms states?)

Do not forget Morris from Dixie at 152. I believe is record is somewhere around 38-40 wins and 5-6 losses. Real district contender.

152 is going to be one of the toughest weight classes in the Region to make it to state. You have

1. Myers CC

2. Lane Jones WV

3. Morris DH

4. Stevens Sk

5. Eschan Coop

6. Wolf/Vince Ryle

7-14. Whoever else I can't remember

I think the 4th spot is going to be a toss up and a hard fought spot to get.

120 is easily the hardest spot to place 2-4th...

Got Yenter, parrot, castellano, brown, and keagan ... all state placing material

I agree it is going to be a dogfight at 120 after Yenter! All of those guys looked tough this year!!!

I am excited to see the seeds! Does anyone know exactly when the seeding meeting will be, is it tomorrow or Thursday? Also, will they post them somewhere or will we have to wait until Friday? I love post season!!!

120 is going to be one of the ones to watch. All tough kids. Also, the seeds are posted for Reg 6.

I agree with oldwrestler81. Maybe I'm just as biased at good old dad, but I can see Cornett taking it to Meyers. Cornett just beat Darrow last week and the kid always seems to wrestle well against strong competition. Big kid matches are always close and I think this one could go either way.
