rebelyell 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 I agree. All of these boys should be tough next year. The next few years should prove to be pretty interesting in region 6. Most of these boys are young and have a lot of growing to do. CC's team in particular is very young and will be fun to watch in the future.

Except, I can't pick Dusty in the top 4; not sure about top 10 right now.
grapplinfan 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 You gotta put Fuller in the should place category. He missed placing by one match this year, and was hurt most of the year and was young (soph). With modest development he'll be fearsome.
Ranger123 43 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 Ryle (3) - Peace (a force at whatever weight he ends up), Reid, plus I'm sure they will have a 103 from Gray MS Campbell (4) - Shotwell (outside shot, needs to step it up), Griffith, Brownfield, Fuller Scott (2) - Thueneman (same note as Peace), Patterson Conner (3) - Bates, Brown, Dillon Dixie (2) - Denham, Benson SK (1) - Cooper (a few other guys that are just on the edge) Holmes (1) - Golsby
grappler-of-old 44 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 I thought Denham graduated? Dillon hasn't shown me he can win big yet. Fuller same way, he is able to keep matches close but doesn't go for the kill. Patterson I'm not convinced yet. I will say that in both 215 and Hwt though, that there will be many unproven wrestlers at those two wt. classes.
pioneer_pride 1 Report post Posted April 20, 2006 Ryan Dillon would be the best wrestler in the N. Ky region if: 1) he had even the slightest bit of dedication in the off season. he has never been to an off season tournament or camp. 2) he could stay off his back. His technique is awesome, he just can't keep from getting pinned.

His technique is awesome' date=' he just can't keep from getting pinned.[/quote'] The same could be said about Golsby. He has learned to stay of his back but. 1. He does almost nothing in the off-season. (No weights, 2 tourneys in 5 years (Border Wars)). He also has not attended any wrestling camps. 2. If he hit the weight room and was dedicated outside the wrestling room during the season. (weight management, conditioning on own, working on technique at home). I really don't know; just assumed it was correct. As for Dillon (at 140), Fuller (215), and Patterson (275), name 8 other guys that will definitely be better. I can't. That's why I listed them. Of course, heavy is always a toss-up to some degree. At 140 I can only think of Ashbrook, Thueneman, Jackson, Case, and maybe Miller. Now 215 will be tougher, with the likes of Watson, Chaney, Dockery, Embree, and Chaffin. But Fuller is as good as anyone else.

Cougarwrestler 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2006 Look for Jake Lee to step up. One match away from qualifying last year. He is getting a lot of good summer wrestling in and attending a lot of camps. As long as he keeps up his hard work up and keeps his weight in the 40's he could be a placer IMO.
