Okay, after foregoing hours and hours of sleep to pour over the brackets I have finally completed my work.  I'm sure there will be a few scratches, but based on the draws as they stand right now, here is how I see the tournament playing out.  Region 1 looks to have a good performance and Region 3 continues to progress.

Who do you have Mikal McNeely losing to? He looks to have a pretty easy road to the quarters

Winkler is tough.  He was 7th last year, so he has proven he can battle for 3 days in Frankfort.  And then I have him running into Sanders in the consolation rounds.

Winkler is tough. but Mikal beat him pretty soundly at Conner Duals, along with Martorana at Regions.

The first big problem I see for McNealy is Ervin, but before that I think he's in there and has a good shot at finishing several spots higher than where he's ranked. But we'll know soon enough, won't we?

Why did sam isaacs at 152 drop so high. Hes got a good draw on the brackets.

Since he forfeited I assumed he was hurt.  And going in as a 4 I didn't see a good draw.  If he's not 100% having Armstrong first round is a tough matchup.  And then I see him with some tough matchups in the consolations.  If he is 100% healthy then yes I will be way off.

Voth lost to parks and went up?? Parks beat #6 shawn johnson, and the #2 jon voth in the same day and didnt move up at all!!

Oh the humanity of it!!  lol...sorry, couldn't help that one.  You sound so upset about it.  That doesn't make much sense, but heck i'm sure Parks would love to be underestimated at state.

You have to look at the brackets.  Based on the draw, that's how I see it.  For example, you could have been #2 all year.  But if you are going to lose to the #1 guy in the quarters or semis you can't finish 2nd.  So you will drop.  I understand what you are saying and maybe Parks is turning it on at the right time, but he hasn't been at that level all season.  Maybe he will prove me wrong.  I don't mind that at all.  I'm just providing a guide that I feel is usually pretty accurate.  But I will admit that I hope I am wrong on a couple of these.  There are kids that I want to have a successful tournament.  But I don't base this on my heart.  If that were the case I would get laughed off the site.

The funny thing here is that Hardin lost to Jeff Smith from Oldham at regionals.  Hardin beat Griggs at the Dragon but Griggs had also gotten hurt that week at practice with a back injury.  Griggs beat Smith at Woodford County but pinned him in his Headlock so if everything worked out right Smith could place higher than either of them.
