Ranger!!!

How about giving some of the Holmes boys some love?

Brandon Wren-No longer has a brace on his neck and is going to return next year.

Alex Dailey- Was a 1st year wrestler placing 6th in the region.

I'm more than certain that Wren can crack the top 20 in these wt. classes. and you don't have a 20th at 140.

Teams like Holmes need all the recognition they can get to try and save their program.  Their coach is brutal.  He has little compation for the wrestlers when their on the mat and from what I hear runs kids out of practice because of his hard nose tactics.

With his weight now, Choate will almost cerainly be 145. Stengel needs to be up there at 152. I'm confident that by the end of state i'll be takin' home a medal. Maybe not top four but it's gonna happen. When my leg isn't hurt I beat some tough guys and I feel that i'm gonna be on a whole different level next season. Which is bad for the people who beat me last year because, from what hear, most of them haven't been doin' anything. Also, Wes Lewis needs to be WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY higher at 112.

this is this one dude on our middle school team this past year that pinned robert geralds three straight weeks in the first 2 periods. and not to mention he was the first guy 2 beat tom shirley

That was Duncan Taylor, true he was the first person to beat me but he won by 1 or 2 points and the next match i majored him 6-0 and have also beat multiple people that he has lost to

6-0 is not a major.

Chris Barret wont be southern's varsity 112. Ill be at 112(Patrick Lile) for varsity tourneys. Rob Noe will be at 119. Rob should be pretty high on the rankings there too. Hes much stronger and has been doing some off season stuff. hes in good shape and will come back strong next year so his name should be out there.

i think logan hull and dez jakes should be ranked they were both ranked last year

Good suggestions.  Those were a couple of guys that were lost in the shuffle at the end of last season.

I don't see it yet.  I have made a few modifications, but I still see them a little short.  Some guys are going to have to step it up.

I know everyone is goin' to disagree with me, but, i've wrestled both Dakoda Choate [wrestled him everyday during the season] and Kevin Porter [wrestling him all week during off season] and, in my opinion, Porter could give Choate a real run if they meet up next year. Especially with the way Porter is working to improve all aspects of his wrestling. I see him actually having the advantage over Choate both in diversity and in physical superiority. The kid is fast, decievingly strong, and in great shape [stamina wise]. His shape will also prove to be an obstacle in itself. The guy is like 13 feet tall. lol. I would really like to see this match.

Then Porter must be really improving.  Because Choate lived up to the billing with the 160s last season.  At 145 I think he will definitely be more than a handful for anyone.

a few tips from the harrison side, Beau Sanders will definately be 145 next year, Micheal Cordray will be 152, and Trevor Maxwell will be more like 130 or 135. Other than that rankings look good.

I only saw this kid wrestle at the state tourney and I'm not sure he lived up to his billing.  Yes he was second at 160, but 160 was not a powerhouse last year.

He only defeated Vinsan by decision. Brownfield 5-0 and Wolfe my 1.  He may have only lost by a couple in the finals to Wolsiefer, but I don't think this was the same Wolsiefer that won 152 last year. I think many of last years 152s could have done just as well if they would have moved up.

At 145 I think he will definitely be more than a handful for anyone.

If he goes 145 and the ones listed are the only ones there he wins probably hands down.  However at 152 with those listed he could be as low as 8th.

Granted I only saw him at state, but he was billed as the next comming and going to give Wolsiefer (maybe the best in the state) a run for his money.  I did not see this from this kid.  Maybe he had a bad tourney or he played it safe, I don't know, but I don't think he is anywhere near the callaber of Wolsiefer, Courtney, Ervin, Ashbrooke, Saunders, Peace.........

Yes, in some posts people got a little defensive and went overboard.  But I think in general they were just trying to say that Wolsiefer would have to wrestle to beat the kid.  And I believe he gave him some of his most competitive matches all year.

I have a question.  Did Choate lose to anyone else all season?  I'm not sure.  He may have lost to Wolfe with an injury/illness issue.  But I don't think he lost more than a time or two.  I don't think he is the most flashy or dominating wrestler in the state, but he gets the job done and that's all that matters.  Maybe a few of these guys will show at the Bluegrass games and can semi-settle the discussion in the preseason.

He lost to Johnny at Woodford [finals], JCTC [Finals], and State [Finals]. He had to forfeit to Wolfe at Big East due to a neck injury.

I completely agree with this statement. Although I have never seen Tingle wrestle, i'm honestly looking at Porter to pull off an upset and possibly win state next year. The kids a beast, hes fast, deceivingly strong as Dust... umm Danger said :), GRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEAAAAAAATTTTT Stamina, he has the drive of no other person i've ever seen to be honest. I think at the very worst he places 2nd. just keep an eye out for this guy to have a monster season next year.

and to be honest i have to agree with danger and hacker because i have wrestled porter and choate and i am friends with them personally....that being said i hate to say it but i would take porter over choate 9 out of 10 times especially now....porter just has the drive to get better right now and i see him improving every day.....this is why i told dakota to figure out what was more important to him....and porter figured that out right after the season...he hasnt stopped wrestling since!
