Region 7 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2009 I would rather see each team wrestle every other team. Tourny format requires placement and last year it was based on previous years placement. TC you would think the best two teams went to State Duals because you all went. You don't know that the two best teams went because everyone didn't wrestle everyone. The pools were not evenly distributed either in the pools.. The way to find the best two teams is to have everyone wrestle and then the two teams with the best records at the dual are your state dual participants. This is just my opinion. Region 7 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2009 I haven't seen all the teams but by Rangers rankings Lafayette verses Franklin Co. Lafayette would have 7 wrestlers ranked above Franklin and Franklin 4 wrestlers ranked above Lafayette with the other 3 weight classes neither team with a ranked wrestler.
