Region 2 feedback

Recommended Posts

There has been to many crazy matches tonight to have one person keep up with all of it. Lots of win and Lots of loses. Who has lost or won. Give me some feedback.

Jordan Murphy dec. Shaq Cox something like 4-3. Great match. lots of fun to watch.

David Blair beat the Anderson 189 (I think his name is Haddix?) by 2. Don't remember the exact score.

I do believe Nelson upset Central Hardin as well. Not sure of the exact team scores, but that is what i have heard from several folks.

Just my observations, but it looks like no one has a sure lock on the 2nd seed from this region. Nelson is wrestling people VERY well and Central looked like they were a little sluggish. Maybe it was just the late night, but i really think today's duals could be entertaining, especially if all my info is correct.

Thanks Ranger, I thought John Hardin would put up a decent fight, but Larue is very well coached and always prepared for the duals. Coach Canter is pretty good with matchups that are favorable to him, I appreciate the updates, I am keeping up with the season from overseas. Thanks

The officiating was lacking to say the least.  Two of the four refs were very inexperienced.  I couldn't understand how refs only one year removed from a high school program that is part of the region could be reffing matches.  It was mind-blowing. They actually reffed matches involving the school they graduated from last year.  You think they would have been assigned to a different mat.  I hope this doesn't happen in the future. :?

I heard from a coach involved in the event and he didn't have any complaints.  So I have no idea of the "school" mentioned here.  But I do agree that one year removed is too close; too many buddies still on the team.
