I'm sure all the kids who wrestled in both middle school and high school did wrestle in a middle school tournament or dual during the season. You have to make scratch weight at least once to get the 2 pound allowance at regionals and state. Now number of matches they wrestled I don't know. I wouldn't think a coach would just have them weigh in and not wrestle.

Whats the difference between Elementary and Middle Schoolers wrestling up? Isn't it the same?

140 was Bryant. Sorry I was tired last night.

If you don't like my picks start your on poll. I agree that some of your picks will win state, Clay and Vanover brothers. But I dont see any of them winning MOW. Most of my picks are multiple time state winners, and most are undefeated just like Tevon Clay. A couple of them Cooper, Willen, Holtsclaw are highly ranked High School Wrestlers. Hell I think Holtsclaw won the WCI this year.

His little brother Matt Fahy wrestles 96lb. He is pretty good also.

Should their be a extra weight allowance given at Middle School State due to fact schools have been closed and teams haven't been practicing. School is still out in many counties. I would hope this is being considered by the KYSWA. A extra pound or two would be great. What does everyone think?
-
I hope they both make it to the finals. They both have wrestled each other many times with Jake winning 95% of the time. I believe Jake beat AJ last year for the elementary school championship, but I not 100% sure. They are both good kids and whoever wants it the most will win. I'm sure both are training hard. I wouldn't count out Skaggs from ryle either.
