The Raider Rumble looks like an early Ky state championship tournament. 7 of the top Ky teams in the state will be represented.

Will this be a seeded tournament?

Does anyone know how good Grundy or South Dearborn are this year?

this tournament is done weird

each weight class is divided up into 4 pools of 4.

They seed the top 4 people and put them into different pools.

Each pool wrestles round robin and the number one guy in each pool is put into a 4 man bracket to decide 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

The 2nd best guy from each pool is put into a four man bracket to decide 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.  If you're not the 1st or second guy in your pool then you're out of the tournament.

If the Grundy team is from Virginia they're probably pretty good, they've been nationally ranked recently.

That would be the Grundy attending the tourney-and yes-they are very good.  South Dearborn very competitive as well.  Make no mistake about it-this will be a tough tournament.  No cake walks to the finals in any weight class.
