va07 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 Great job just one question where is Coty Wood from North do you know something we might not know?
Flyboy 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 I took him off because I believe unless North Hardin hires a ref to come in and weight them in Cody Woods needs 3 weight- ins at 103/105 to wrestle at regions. I believe that is the rule. There is only two more weights-ins left for the rest of this season. And when I talked to him couple of days ago he said he was weight in at practice at 115. With the weight manage meet program it will be hard for him to make 105 in two weeks. Now if I hear something different by next weekend when I redo the rankings for the final time everyone knows where he will be on there anyways. This was me thinking it out thats all. pridewrestler 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2008 You need 3 weigh ins at that weight? I just thought you had to make weight by state duals where you wanted to go.
wrestler07 1 Report post Posted January 31, 2008 i thought as long as you weighted in a that weight on the the last Saturday of January you were fine.
myGSP 4 Report post Posted January 31, 2008 C) Certifi cation into a Weight Class1) A wrestler is certifi ed into a particular weight class at anyregularly scheduled match or tournament any time on or prior tothe Saturday of NFHS week 30 by making base weight (includinggrowth allowance after December 25) at an offi cial weigh-in ona certifi ed scale as long as that certifi ed weight is not below thedocumented minimum weight and is at a time allowed by theminimum weight calculations. A wrestler weighing in on or priorto the Saturday of NFHS week 30 is continually certifying at theweigh-in weight.2) Once a wrestler is certifi ed into a particular weight class asof the Saturday of NFHS week 30, he/she may weigh-in onlyin that class and one class above. He/she is automatically recertified into a higher weight class after the Saturday of NFHSweek 30 by weighing in and qualifying for that class, but neverinto a lower weight class. After the Saturday of NFHS week 30,making base weight (including growth) two classes above anypreviously certifi ed weight class automatically renders thatwrestler ineligible for the remainder of the year to wrestle in thelower weight class (previous certifi ed weight).3) Please note that this rule is for weigh-ins, not matches. It ispossible that a wrestler weighed in at a certain class weightfor a match, but wrestled up during that match. That weigh-inwould count for the lower, weigh-in class.D) Weight ControlAll coaches are cautioned that rapid reduction in weight canendanger the health of the student athlete and coaches areencouraged to keep current with all research in this area. Themanager of each meet is to have each participant weighed and it ishighly recommended that a physician examine each participant.

Flyboy 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2008 Ok to put all this crap to rest I'm not from John Hardin I'm in fact from Larue. Heinz the name Flyboy. I don't know to many bulldogs that are flying but I do know a lot of hawks that fly. Chill out there Jones, Coty Wood will be back up on the rankings here next week now that I know where he is going. As I have said in the past if I wanted to make false rankings and lie to everyone, then I would make all Larue wrestlers number one in there weight classes. Or you can believe what you want Jones I don't remember asking for your approve where I was from.
myGSP 4 Report post Posted February 1, 2008 Flyboy thanks for coming forward.I would still like to know what NH189 was trying to say, it appears that he has something against John (but there is always somebody trying to find a reason. To stop somebody in a weight class because somebody is better). I would still like to hear what he is saying, and how John got brought into this post. pridewrestler 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2008 Look Trint Webb can be beaten. He got pinned by a guy from Union who isn't that up to par with the other union wrestlers. I dont find it surprising isaacs teching him because sammy is a really good wrestler.

Ranger123 43 Report post Posted February 1, 2008 i know he is and i am not say that he is bad he is good i just didn't see the 2nd ranked kid TECHING the 3rd ranked kidTo me that means there is a drop off. I think 3-12 could be a toss-up. And some of those guys could easily pull an upset of the top 2.
CoachJ 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2008 Ok let me first start off by saying Sammy Isaacs is a very good wrestler and yes he did Tech Webb at the second round of region duals. I do however, feel that its worth pointing out that Isaacs lost to Dez Jakes the same day 5-3. I think Isaacs matches up well with Webb but I don't think drop off applies here. Also in defense of Webb I think it should be pointed out that the pin by Willett was an Offensive pin and one could argue that it was a very quick pin as the referee called it before he even got down to the mat. I am not sure of the exact score when it happened but it was not a close match at the time.
