We become more like Ohio having kids over 20 competing. And when I say more like Ohio I don’t mean in a good way.

My thinking is if kids know they can just repeat this year, academics will be far off in the rear view. Leads people to put a lot more into extracurriculars than academics. I’m not certain that’s a precedent we need to set. 
 

What does this do to recruiting? An over abundance of athletes competing for finite scholarships (more than normal)?

Most kids are not 19 by August 1st. even after they graduate.
