FalconWrestling 147 Report post Posted December 22, 2015 I think I found everything I could, but it feels like some results are still missing. I also plan to attend the Christian County Invitational this year since we finish our tournament the day before. Still waiting on potential weight changes following the two pound christmas gift. Anyway here are what I've got this week.1061. Kaleb Sapp, Ohio County (1)2. Daniel Knight, Christian County (2) 3. Gabe Adams, Union County (3)4. Keegan Slone, Trigg County (4) 5. Ethan Wells, UHA (6) 6. Keaton Elliot, Calloway County (UR)Decided to move Wells over Eggers based on the fact Eggers has yet to get a win outside of a forfeit. Then I decided to move Elliot in for wrestling well lately.1131. Dale Robertson, Hoptown (1)2. Austin Grant-Hall, Christian County (2) 3. Seth Slayton, Caldwell County (120)4. Billy Pride, Union County (3) 5. Ray Hamilton, Paducah Tilghman (120)6. Isaac Aguier, Trigg County (4)Grant-Hall continues to impress. Slayton and Hamilton drop down from 120 and into the 113 rankings.1201. Saul Ervin, Union County (1) 2. Nick Dickerson, Calloway County (2)3. Cameron Dearmond, Hoptown (3)4. Ishmael Griffie, Christian County (6) 5. Shane Grey, Ohio County (126) 6. Jordan Snyder, Trigg County (UR)Slayton and Hamilton have dropped down to 113, but Grey moves down from 126. Snyder moves into the remaining 6 spot. 1261. Scott Ruttman, Calloway County (132) 2. Devontae Turner, Trigg County (1) 3. Kaleb O'Campo, Caldwell County (132)4. Jaelin Smith, Christian County (4) 5. Sam Hite, Union County (UR)6. Jacob Vickery, McCracken County (UR)Ruttman and O'Campo have dropped down from 132 and are immediately contending for a region title. I nearly forgot that Ruttman had the win over Turner1321. Bryce Sheffer, Union County (1) 2. Louie Regaldo, Fort Campbell (138)3. Camerin Cole, Christian County (2) 4. Jacob Bellah, Calloway County (138)5. Hunter Vlach, McCracken County (6) 6. Jacob Turley, Hoptown (UR) I put Regaldo in over Cole based on the fact he was a region champ last year, but this should be a very close match. I don't think Regaldo can pull out a win over Sheffer but the top three guys here could place at state pretty easily.1381. Chance Oxford, Union County (1)2. Chance Collins, UHA (2) 3. Alex Curl, Fort Campbell (145) 4. Colin Stevens, Trigg County (4)5. Antonio Abren, Christian County (6) 6. Zlatko Skuljan, Hoptown (UR)Oxford is back in play and thus keeps the #1 spot. Collins is serious threat in that second spot though. Curl leads the rest of the pack which include some dangerous wrestlers such as Nicodemus of Ohio County who are just out of the top 6.1451. Kobe Perry, Christian County (1) 2. Micah Ervin, Union County (2)3. Justin Crabtree, Trigg County (4)4. Chase Arnold, Ohio County (5)5. Jacob Kramer, Calloway County (6) 6. Jeffrey Mathis, McCracken County (UR)Perry and Ervin are the top two here and a very interesting matchup. From three down is also hazy as the wrestlers seem to be at around the same level.1521. Jackson Oxford, Union County (1)2. Isaiah Lawson, Hoptown (2) 3. Corbin Ryder, Fort Campbell (3) 4. Jack Haynes, Calloway County (4) 5. Braden Sperry, Caldwell County (5)6. Malik Cunningham, Trigg County (6)All I'm going to say here is that 152 is probably the toughest weight in the region right now.1601. Diion Leavell, Christian County (1) 2. Mario Perez, Calloway County (2) 3. Ivan Lawson, Hoptown (UR) 4. Caleb Riley, Caldwell County (3)5. Evan Martin, McCracken County (4)6. Zeke Hatfield, Ohio County (5) Lawson jumps into the rankings with a win over Caleb Riley. That's the only result I've noticed but there are other people I am eyeing at this weight.1701. Avery Buckman, Union County (1)2. Keyven Sells, Christian County (2)3. Dylan Grey, Caldwell County (3)4. Josh Thweatt, Trigg County (4)5. Kolby Morris, Hoptown (5) 6. Aaron Allen, Ohio County (182) Didn't notice any noteworthy results here.1821. Katayvon Anthony, Hoptown (1)2. David Woods, Calloway County (2)3. Daniel Moll, Caldwell County (3)4. Alex Billiter, Christian County (4)5. Taylor Hampton, Trigg County (6) 6. Caleb Benefield, Fort Campbell (UR) Allen drops to 170 opening up a spot for Benefield.1951. Cole Sherman, Union County (1)2. Seth Estes, McCracken County (3) 3. Christian Cruz, Hoptown (4)4. Jackson Fitzgerald, Paducah Tilghman (5) 5. Josh Efinger, Calloway County (UR)6. Mark Diaz, Trigg County (6)Adkinson is taken out of the rankings. Efinger comes in but there are a couple other wrestlers who could be in this top 6. 220 1. Chance Orr, Paducah Tilghman (285)2. Kjauwan Major, Christian County (2)3. Colby Culver, Calloway County (3) 4. Tige Littlefield, Caldwell County (5) 5. Phil Bradley, UHA (4)6. Logan Thomas, Hoptown (285)I'm dropping Sherman for now, but he would be at #1. I put Orr in over Major based on his success at 285 and the fact that he was a state qualifier last year at this weight. This is an extremely tough weight class that has gotten even harder with Thomas and Orr dropping.2851. David Nikolao, Fort Campbell (1)2. David Clark, Calloway County (4) 3. Bryce Chandler, Union County (5) 4. Gavynn Davis, McCracken County (UR) 5. Patrick Duarte, Trigg County (UR) 6. Xavier Chappel, Paducah Tilghman (UR) Nikolao's hold on this weight is virtually unshakeable at the moment especially with the several drops to 220. Team Race1. Union County (38.5) What did you expect?2. Christian County (27.5) Christian County still has a lot of room to move up in the rankings.3. Calloway County (22) Calloway plays the match up game better than anyone else in the region and they have rocketed up the rankings because of it. 4. Hopkinsville (21) Hoptown has threats but it is uncertain right now how much damage they will make at regions.5. Fort Campbell (12.5) Fort Campbell has as solid of a core group you could ask for but sorely lack experience in the other weight classes. Trigg County is still waiting in the wings leading the rest of the pack. McCracken may have finally turned the corner every new program has to and is turning out some kids who are serious threats come regionals.6. Trigg County (11) 7. Caldwell County (9.5)8. Ohio County (7.5) 9. Paducah Tilghman (6.5)10. McCracken County (6) 11. UHA (4)
tja 150 Report post Posted December 22, 2015 Also worth noting Cameron Dearmond and Nick Dickerson both picked up wins over Trace Jenkins Tennessee State placer. Sheffers potential drop to 128 makes for a very interesting matchup with Regaldo and Cole.

According to trackwrestling, Dearmond wrestled Dalton Kilpatrick and not Trace Jenkins...unless I missed something

Granby 29 Report post Posted December 22, 2015 Do you compile rankings from other regions? I thought I noticed that you did. Anyway if so would you consider giving region 4 a shot? If not, my bad.

I have data I've been collecting for Region 4 but I don't feel comfortable with it. I don't think it is up to my standards
385 109 Report post Posted December 23, 2015 Ranger Rankings has had Dylan Gray at 152 all year, but if I'm not mistaken you've had him at 170 all year. He's always been huge so I can see 170. Who's correct?
tja 150 Report post Posted December 23, 2015 He has been wrestling 170 all year long
Ranger123 43 Report post Posted December 24, 2015 His fat test allowed 152 so I won't move him until I see big tournament results to suggest otherwise or have good info. I tend to take dual results with some hesitation because so many coaches bump kids around. But I agree that it looks like he will at least be a 160.
385 109 Report post Posted December 24, 2015 Definitely a difference maker no matter where he falls.
FalconWrestling 147 Report post Posted December 24, 2015 Ranger focuses more on where he expects them to end up, I focus more on where they are now. I also update a lot more than Ranger so I can afford to take that approach. It's not a case of "I'm right and he's wrong"
FalconWrestling 147 Report post Posted December 28, 2015 No update this week with Christian County right around the corner, going to update on the 4th though

FalconWrestling 147 Report post Posted December 31, 2015 Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my car troubles handled in time to make the trip but I'll be able to make small school sectionals this weekend. Figured I'll give my predictions for both sectionals while I'm here Big School 1. Christian County 2. Hopkinsville Small School 1. Union County 2. Calloway County
