I'd love to think about some KY boys gracing the podium, but realize what it would take for these guys to make it happen.  This tourney is as good as it gets, and I think they have to win 5-6 times just to make it to the second day (100+ brackets)!  If we end up with some on the podium there should be a parade!  I know I'll be pulling for them to see if they can do it.

No Sheffer, Ervin, Frankrone, Erdman, or Binder. Duncan and Cornett both have had great showings so far. Both are in the round of 16. Huston is in wrestle backs, but still alive. Saw where former KY State Champ David Carr is in the round of 16 as well. Anyone know why some of the guys weren't able to make the trip? Hopefully everyone is healthy and aren't at home due to injury.

Cornett drops a close one 5-3 in the round of 16. He came back and lost his next match in the consos 13-5. Duncan runs into a buzz saw in the round of 16 and loses 16-2. He has however came back and won in wrestle backs. Huston went 1-2 on the day. David Carr is in the semi finals.

Duncan has now been eliminated. He had a nice run though. Represented himself and KY very well. David Carr is looking strong. He won this morning and is now in the semis.

^^^I tried to look it up, and only the kids names are listed on the brackets that I'm looking at. It doesn't specify which state that they are from. And unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to recognize many if any youth and middle school wrestlers. Sorry.

Tyler Frankrone has been sick.  I registered him hoping he'd be feeling better by the time the tournament,  but it didn't happen.
