FalconWrestling 147 Report post Posted December 11, 2012 I don't have any final exams until wednesday so I decided I have nothing better to do then give you guys a little bit of a treat and make some slightly more accurate rankings before our newly christened Dual tournament at Caldwell. Again this is from me cross-referencing all the results I could find from trackwrestling and NWCA plus the brackets from Bluegrass and Derby. So if there are any results or kids I missed (such as Corey Curtis) please post them here or message me. A couple fairly big shifts coming up as I have recieved word on rumored weight cuts, some big ones incoming. 106 1. Bryce Sheffer, Union (1) 2. Travon Thacker, Hoptown (2) 3. Tyler Ward, Apollo (3) 4. Wes Gray, Caldwell (4) 5. Zenon Rodriguez, Paducah (6) 6. Kaleb Sapp, Christian (UR) Dropping out: Martinson, Daviess Not a lot of changes at this weight. I haven't seen a lot of results from Tyler Ward lately, any word on him would be helpful. 113 1. Robert Dezember, Union (UR) 2. Jeremiah Kline, Trigg (1) 3. Asa Odoms, Christian (3) 4. Anthony DeWitt, Fort Campbell (4) 5. Seth Tichenor, Ohio (6) 6. George Datson, Paducah (5) Dropping out: Oxford, Union Replacing Oxford with Dezember here who has the wins over Kline. Otherwise not a lot of change at this weight. 120 1. Trae Blackwell, Union (1) 2. Caleb Austin, Christian (2) 3. Derek Miller, Paducah (3) 4. Connor Jaschen, Hoptown (4) 5. Chance Collins, UHA (6 at 126) 6. Moses Williams, Apollo (UR) Dropping Out: Ryder, Fort Campbell; Dyess, UHA Top four don't see any change here. Collins has been wrestling good lately looks to figure into the battle for fourth and maybe even third. 126 1. Brock Ervin, Union (1) 2. Brian Herdrick, Fort Campbell (2) 3. Jeremy Burnham, Christian (3) 4. B.J. Miller, Ohio (4) 5. Dalton Putty, UHA (UR) 6. Tyler Ward, Apollo (5) Dropping Out: Collins, UHA Chance Collins dropping down puts Putty in at 5th here over Ward. This isn't a huge diss on Ward, he is still capable of finishing as high as third. So far we are looking at four really tough weights (and four Union champs, but come on, it's Union). I also want to take a moment to congratulate Brock on his 5th place showing at Ironman 132 1. Wade Willen, UHA (3 at 138) 2. Jeff Wurth, Union (1) 3. Frank Rosario, Paducah (2) 4. Daniel Ingram, Trigg (3) 5. Joey Insko, Daviess (4) 6. Ryan Bunch, Ohio (5) Dropping Out: Ringle, Fort Campbell The biggest news concerning this weight is the rumored drop of Wade Willen. Ranger already thought this cut was going to happen so props to him for paying attention to these things better then me. 138 1. Jayce Carr, Union (1) 2. Kory Polley, Christian (1 at 145) 3. David Sahms, Fort Campbell (2) 4. Chris Gilkey, Caldwell (5) 5. Trevor Wilson, Ohio (6) 6. Isaiah Frank, Calloway (UR) Dropping Out: Willen, UHA; Matlock, Christian The second big weight cutting news is of course Kory Polley. I am of course not 100% certain this is true and it of course wouldn't be for awhile but if he does make the cut then we will get to see some GREAT matches between him and Jayce Carr. 145 1. Keegan Agnew, Caldwell (2) 2. Chad Gahafer, Union (3) 3. Jacob Bennett, Ohio (3 at 152) 4. Robert Bussell, Hoptown (4) 5. Kenny Sells, Christian (6 at 152) 6. Ryan Gallogly, Trigg (6) Dropping Out: Polley, Christian; Davidson, Fort Campbell With Polley cutting down to 138, Agnew now has a clear shot at the title. Bennett and Gahafer should have some good matches to determine who comes in second. 152 1. Gabe Ervin, Union (1) 2. Kyle Bunch, Ohio (3 at 160) 3. Joe Sisco, Graves (4) 4. Little Sells, Christian (UR) 5. Gino Haywood, Fort Campbell (UR) 6. Will Crabtree, UHA (UR) Dropping Out: Lawson, Hoptown; Bennett, Ohio; Green, Fort Campbell; Sells, Christian Losing Lawson is a big blow to Hoptown. If Kyle Bunch cuts down then he will be battling out with Sisco for second place to Ervin. 160 1. Cameron Montgomery, UHA (1) 2. Jerry Haywood, Fort Campbell (2) 3. Corey Curtis, Daviees (UR) 4. Caleb Wolfe, Union (UR) 5. Tyler Williams, UHA (UR) 6. Jones, Trigg (UR) Dropping Out: Bunch, Ohio; Smith, Union; Williams, Paducah; Silva, Christian The top two at this weight don't change. But the rest of the rankings are completely changed. Curtis is someone I forgot in my last rankings, he has the potential to win the region alongside Haywood and Montgomery. I think Wolfe is going to end up Union's guy here and he could make region finals if he has a good tournament. Williams and Jones are both guys who could slip into the top 4. 170 1. Ki Ryder, Fort Campbell (1) 2. Ben Redfield, Paducah (2) 3. Chase Copland, Graves (UR) 4. Tyler Wilson, Calloway (4) 5. Austin Durham, Trigg (5) 6. Aaron Fulton, Ohio (6) Dropping Out: Baker, Hoptown This appears to be shaking up to be a two horse race between Ryder and Redfield. This is leading up to a potential marquee match up between the two at Caldwell which has serious implication in the team race. 182 1. Drayton Simmons, Fort Campbell (1) 2. Clay Revlett, Caldwell (2) 3. Kane Morris, Union (3) 4. Zak Thompson, Paducah (3 at 195) 5. Xavier Pate, Christian (UR) 6. Phil Bradley, UHA (4) Dropping Out: Carr, Christian The only major change at this weight is Zak Thompson cutting down from 195 making the top 4 alittle bit more interesting. 195 1. Bryan Carter, Union (1) 2. Bradley Easterling, Ohio (2) 3. Chase Allen, Daviess (6) 4. Colton Livingston, Trigg (4) 5. ????? Mason, ????? (UR) 6. Caleb Carter, Fort Campbell (5) Dropping Out: Thompson, Paducah Thompson cutting down puts Chase Allen at a good shot to make the regional finals. I have Mason down on my list but stupid me forgot to put a first name or where he is from. 220 1. Aaron Stevens, Trigg (1) 2. Zach Farris, Ohio (2) 3. Bobby Caldwell, Paducah (5) 4. Dustin Armendariz, Fort Campbell (4) 5. Cole Sherman, Union (UR) 6. Eugene Butler, Hoptown (6) Dropping Out: Day, Christian No major changes here beyond information that James Day is going back up to Heavy 285 1. Raynel Brown, Union (1) 2. Dominic Hephner, Paducah (2) 3. James Day, Christian (2 at 220) 4. Jake Jorstad, Fort Campbell (3) 5. Maurice Catlett, Trigg (4) 6. James O'Neal, Owensboro (UR) Dropping Out: Clark, Calloway; McGregory, Christian With Day moving up this now turns into a situation where any of the top 3 could win it with again major implication for the team race as 4 of the 5 teams gunning for second have a horse in this race. Team Rankings 1. Union County 2. Christian County 3. Fort Campbell 4. Trigg County 5. Paducah Tilghman/Ohio County

FalconWrestling 147 Report post Posted December 11, 2012 Thank god, I don't think the wrestling gods can handle that much talent at one weight. You gotta remember I am in Ohio I am only as good as my info
FalconWrestling 147 Report post Posted December 11, 2012 Simple swap, place Kory back at number one for 145. Matlock is in at 3rd for
Loudmouth 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2012 I think kory wins region no matter what weight he is
naplesme 58 Report post Posted December 11, 2012 You can scratch Day at 285. Kenneth (Tre') Sells will be at 152. Christian's 220 is Tevin Toler who was 3rd at the Derby this weekend & the 195 is Stevie Mason. Christian doesn't have a 106. I think Sapp is from Trigg. Pusher 1 Report post Posted December 14, 2012 Is Cory Curtis done for the season? I believe he hurt his shoulder again, at his last match. He was to suppose to get a MRI this week.
