Davies county was without half there starters last night against Ohio county. Senior captin Jim brake broke his collar bone last night also so keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

The Montgomery kid from uha looked great last night, but willen didn't wrestle.

I was told that wade willen did not wrestle last night, anybody know why?

A bunch of the 106's from region 1 last year are now 113. Not to big of a jump but they were stud's at 106

Region 1 has a guy in the top 5 of about every weight class. Region 6 namely cc and Ryle are amazing but region 1 finished 2nd in scoring last year.

Region 1 is turning into a power house. With union county always being a contender for a team state title and christian county having a few top ranked guy region 1 has a chance to make some big noise at state. We have made willen who just signed a college scholorship and jayce who also did. Tyler ward is outstanding as a sophomore along with zach Farris from Ohio county. There is also a freshman 106 from Davies county, skyler martinson who I've herd is looking really good. Who else thinks region 1 is the toughest region in the state.

Thursday, Owensboro, Davies, and Uha have a tri dual. Any predictions? I say Davies over Owensboro Uha over Owensboro Uha over Davies

Ward, Apollo's 106 looks tough and is ranked top five he has a chance to go all the way. Christan looks good on paper and I think Uha will have a good season

I'm not from daviess actually, I'm from Ohio county but I am a fan of region one wrestling. I like your rankings and break down but I think a few things you missed. I would say 1.union 2. Fort Campbell 3. Ohio 4. Christan 5. Caldwell 6. Uha 7. Daviess 8. Tilghman 9. Hopkinsville 10. Trigg 11. Calloway 12. Apollo 13. Owensboro

Aside from union and Ohio, what region 1 team do you think will have the biggest break out year? I can personally see christan and uha having big years, but a team on the rise is davies county
