cruedog 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2006 How many wrestlers have been at the past Gable Series tournaments? How many in the lower weights (e.g. mid65)? We live in TN and have traveled to KY for tourneys last year and will do the same this summer. Who will have more Gable on June 10th or Battle of the Bluegrass on June 10th. SpartanMom 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2006 The lower weights have been a little low in numbers for the Gable series. We wrestle at midget 55 and at the Ryle tournament we had to ccombine weight classes from 50-60 and had 4 kids. I really hope it picks up and that those hosting will stick with it. Wrestling beyond regular season is a must if we hope to have skills consistent with those around us and we need to start this at the youngest level. I would love to go to a Kentucky tournament and see lots of wrestlers in every bracket. The kids that show up to wrestle appear to have some good talent, it will make a difference next season!
