Let's not get carried away. It was only 3-1, but still a good win for Asa.

Christian County finished 7th, behind UHA (5th) and Ohio County (6th).

Actually they did finish 5th. Tied with UHA and just ahead of Ohio County. There was a scoring error in the 285 3rd/4th place match. The first version had the West Creek wrestler, when it should have been the Christian County wrestler. No matter either way Christian County wrestled like crap. I can't believe they were in 2nd and fell all the way to 9th before barely climbing back to 5th

Asa Odoms(Christian County)  destroyed Chris Gilkey (Caldwell) proving all of you wrong!!!!! :-P

it wasnt a destroy, but odoms looked pretty good. If he can beat bennett and gilky consistently looks like he has a shot at making state.

Oh and David Sahms struggled with Asa in their match. He couldnt pin Asa but Sahms did well against Blackwell until the last 20 seconds of the match.

Sahms did not struggle against him... Asa is a good young wrestler who stepped up over the weekend.. The Northwest Kid he beat was a state qualifier in TN last season.

What happened between Wade Willen and Henderson I heard a little tussel broke out.

Willen won 6-2.  Henderson was frustrated, threw his headgear, refused to shake Willen's hand, and was appropriately dinged one team point for poor sportsmanship.  No place for that in this sport.

I agree with that statement-- I have seen too much of that this year.. I have also seen alot of tap-outs this year. 1 Kid at this toury tap-out 3 times as he was being pinned but then got a pin on the other kid. I think there should be a limitto how many times you can tap-out in a match.

I don't want to get into the whole tap out thing AGAIN, but I have set that limit with my oldest son.  Last year at a youth tournament he was winning a match and the kid caught him in a headlock.  He freaked out like he couldn't breathe and the official stopped it (as he probably should).  My son was fine, but I immediately threw in the towel and gave the other kid the win.  I don't think it is fair to get saved from a bad situation.  And I know all of the arguments about someone really getting hurt, but I'm just not seeing it.  Unless something illegal or potentially dangerous happens, suck it up and fight or put your shoulders to the mat.

I fell the same way Ranger.. My son has only had one time where he could not get out and almost passed out, but he finshed the match.  Thanks for ur side

The officiating in the match between Willen & Henderson was horrible. Henderson was frustrated from Willen constant fleeing the mat, take-down points given out of bounds, but he did not throw his head gear. The team point was taken for inappropriate hand shake.

wade willen wasnt ever really stalling. he was gettin pushedd out of bounce, which can be considered stalling on chase

Chase? i dont think you are talking about the same match. Chase dominated their match.
