flybody i give you credit for puttin these rankings together but, alot of this weekends matchs shouldve affected these alot but it seems they didnt. i know that duals are alot diffrent from a region tournament. but i find it hard to believe nelson county could finish second in team dual and be ranked dead last for the region tournament. not bad mouthing just my opion

Pile has been the only one that has consistently beaten his opponents. Now I don't have any information on any of there guys either. So it is extremely hard to have them up there tournament wise. Another thing was they were in a three way tie so they could easily be put down to the fourth spot dual wise.  They did wrestle very very well this weekend and I myself am very impressed. They are a pinning machine.

Shinault beat Pile and Pile is was the guy to beat so in my opinion that makes his lose to Beto void.

I think a lot of people underestimated them and they took advantage of that and went after it and beat John, and Central.

im pretty sure nelson's 103 daniel pile beat danville and john hardins 103's and there 215 josh bowman beat ft knox and the heavyweights from anderson and north hardin

I posted this same blurb in the HS rankings thread done by Ranger.

Beto won TCI, pinned McCrCent(ranked #20) in the semis and dec. Dunbar in the finals.

Earlier in the yr he pinned Wright from Seneca (ranked #6).

At region 2 duals he pinned Chenault (ranked #15) from Central hardin, and beat Hall (ranked #11) from Larue.

You can't base a ranking on a tournament that someone won. It depends on who he's wrestled. The PLD kid he beat in the finals at TCI isn't even ranked.

So you're conveniently ignoring the rest of the post and just adressing his TCI win? I'm aware that TCI was a weak field, does that mean he should be penalized for winning it?

Ok well as I have before Beto is a very good wrestler but he is in my opinion the toughest weight class in region 2. I will have to look at some other information on this but they are all very close anything can happen at anytime.
