sheeves 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 Maxwell had trouble making weight the night we dueled you all because it was his 1st week back, he quit and had trouble dropping it all back down. He made weight at state and regionals easy. The way he talks though he wants to try to wrestle 119 but if he can't then he'll wrestle 125. I doubt he'll make it to 119 though. Haven't you forgotten one of this years varsity wrestlers - What about Coy at 140. He had one of the toughest weight classes there was this year. He is going to wrestle next year isn't he??? Can Lenz stay at 103 next year. He'll be a junior won't he? Didn't he gain almost 10 pounds last year in the off season? He may hit another growth spurt. What makes you so sure Wasson will be back next year??? You left Brandon Barnett off the list also. He is weighing around 155 now. He should be back at full strength next season. I also heard that a wrestling club has been started for elementary and middle school kids in Harrison Co. How is that going????You all keep up the good work. Harrison County will be a team to reckon with in the next few years. I think that Sanders and Ashbrook will be on the 1st place medal trail next year and there will hopefully be two more Harrison Co. state champions next year! Wasson is coming back I have talked to him personally and can assure that he didn't sound doubtful. Andy Lenz should make 103 next year it made it easily this year never having to cut weight. Lenz did gain alot of weight over the summer, i recken puberty kickedin for him, but you only hit puberty once so don't be looking for much change in him. I forgot about Barnett with him being out for his injury he will help fill some gaps in the line- up next year as well, but not sure where he will be. Harrison has a very good youth club growing and growing each week, with promising young upcomers. Josh and Beau will be very good wrestlers and should win state hands down, best of luck to them.
