Thanks for the work you put into these rankings! You've got Abram Ross (165) and Zander Naue (175) from Region 2 mixed up.

what do you mean by mixed up?  I'm taking their results straight out of track.

Saw a great quote yesterday from an article titled "No Superman out there"

If you want to be successful in this sport you have to have a blatant disregard for rankings. Does the higher ranked wrestler get spotted a few points? Do they get to start with a leg? Do they get a gun and you get a knife?

Make sure you wrestle the opponent and not their ranking. No one can bring their medals on the mat with them. You gotta go out and prove it every day. No one wears an S on their chest. And even if he does find his Kryptonite. Everyone is vulnerable everyone is capable of being beat. Stop giving a darn who you wrestle or what they are ranked. Wrestle aggressively and focus on the two things you can always control: Effort & Attitude.

Ironically, I agree 100% with that quote.  But I do believe there is significant value in rankings.

I agree with it too but that applies mainly to the wrestlers I love looking at rankings but I discourage my kids from looking at them ever,  we have seen lately in the NCAA the rankings are often off : Over 30 Upsets In Week 12 Of The D1 NCAA College Wrestling Season subtitle reads (The usual caveats apply, what looks like an upset according to the most recent rankings may not look like an upset by the time the season ends, or even by next week!) https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/11949859-over-30-upsets-in-week-12-of-the-d1-ncaa-college-wrestling-season

This part I repeat to them if one of their teammates exhibits a prey mentality by telling them who they have next or the opponents ranking

Does the higher ranked wrestler get spotted a few points? Do they get to start with a leg? Do they get a gun and you get a knife?

Make sure you wrestle the opponent and not their ranking.
