103 Martin over Warren ( Major Decision i believe)

112 Cornett over Voth ( Overtime match, Cornett the agressor with a nice single leg, voth needs to be more offensive on his feet.)

119 Parks over Chui ( Parks wrestled a very controlled match, won by 5 or so)

125 Voth over Fuller ( Nice match, Fuller lead until the third period, then completely gassed when voth turned up the heat, Voth won 20 to 11. Fuller did have a nice single leg, if he shapes up a little more he could be a serious contender, a good wrestler).

130 Branch over lewis 6-5 ( very exciting match, stayed close the whole way, lewis was better on his feet, but branch threw in the legs and was better on the mat, actually tilted lewis for nearfall)

135 Warner over Butler 3-0 ( slow controlled match)

140 Jackson over issacs 5-1 i think, maybe more (another control match)

145 Thuneman over Barger (Thuneman won by like 5 or so, maybe more 11-6ish)

152 Sheehan pinned stevens ( sheehan dominant most the way)

160 Wolsiefer over chotey ( major decision, dominant performance by Wolsiefer)

171 Rupp over Guiler ( cant remember score)

189 Roe V.S. Houchens i believe (sorry, cant remember winner)

215 Watson over Dockery by 3 or 4 i believe (dockery was winning 2-0, then watson hit a headlock for 5 points, dockery seemed to be the aggressor, look for a closer score next time, maybe different outcome, good match)

275 Byrd over young by 3 or so (close score but mosly a dominant match by Byrd)

Teams: 1) FERN CREEK 2) WOODFORD 3) SENECA

MOW: Shane Parks

WCI was very interesting....119 is by far one of the toughest weight classes in the state this year...multiple state placers in there, but Shane Parks had a great tournament...he really showed his talent in the finals against jon chui  who beat parks 3-1 earlier in the year...and in the finals shane beat him 8-1...almost a major, but parks just destroyed him on top...chui started breaking after parks rode him and turn him a time or two...great job shane!!

I wouldn't say that voth needed to be more offensive on his feet, he controlled the match on his feet the entire time, up until OT

John Voth is a good wrestler, i personally cheer for him majority of the time, he's strong, in shape, and seems to be a good guy. But reality is, he's not offensive on his feet, he's defensive. he didn't take a shot the whole match and when a guy keeps shooting deep singles on your leg, he's eventually going to finish sooner or later(as proven in the finals). He was lucky he wasn't hit for stalling 2 or 3 times. As soon as he decides to be more offensive on his feet, he'll be VERY tough to beat. This is simply my opinion, not a declaration.
