Chris Duke 284 Report post Posted January 18, 2018 When you search this all it gives you is the alternative uniform information. Will wrestlers have to make scratch weight? Do they have to wear singlets for weigh ins? Do females get .7? 5. Weigh in procedure – all wrestlers are required to weigh in wearing their competition uniform as defined by NFHS Rule 4-1-1. https://cdn4.sportngin.com/attachments/document/0136/1837/BYLAWS_of_the_KENTUCKY_FOLKSTYLE_WRESTLING_COMMITTEE.pdf
Louden Swain 36 Report post Posted January 19, 2018 I agree, it’s very misleading. It has been put out there as if NFHS 4-1-1 is the rule that requires you to weigh in wearing your competition uniform. But when you read the rule, NFHS 4-1-1only defines what a competition uniform is. To me it makes zero sense to weigh in wearing a singlet. What Benifit could there be? No on shoes. Having them weigh in in their singlets makes it faster to do weigh ins since boys and girls can go together
