CoachGardner 2 Report post Posted March 15, 2017 ATENTION ALL WRESTLERS: This Saturday is the NCAA D1 Wrestling Finals from 8-10:30pm! In the spirit of the wrestling Franklin County will host an off-season practice from 6-8pm. Directly after, from 8-10:30pm we will watch the Finals on a projector together while eating pizza! We are inviting teams from across the state to join us. Here are the details- WHEN: Saturday MARCH 18, from 6-10:30pm WHERE: Franklin County High School PRACTICE PLAN: Intro to FREESTYLE and GRECO with LIVE and DODGEBALL mixed in WHO: Any wrestler wanting to have fun learning new moves (such as THROWS, LEG LACES, and GUT WRENCHES), new styles in general, and wants to watch the Finals with people who LOVE WRESTLING as much as they do. WHAT TO BRING: $5 to pitch in for pizza and drinks. Along with clothes and shoes ready for wrestling. *Please email me if you have any questions or plan to attend or comment below. I'd like to get a head count so I can maybe have pizzas called in prior to. jeremygardner41@gmail.com All wrestling coaches, alumni, and fans are welcome to attend. Well even if you can spread the word it could go a long way! I know it is late notice but it should be fun for any wrestler who shows up. It will be an open mat with a laid back atmosphere, so kids can learn something new and fun without judgement and then some live to compete and practice before they get thrust into unfamiliar territory. This is an awesome idea, could you post it over in the other forum also for the Middle School / Youth....I'll spread the word to our parents from Anderson County.
