Looking forward to having Andrew Liber and Micah Medina of Bellarmine come and lead us in a workout this coming Wednesday! Again, this is a free workout opportunity! Must have a current USAW card. 6-7:30pm in the OCHS practice room. Enter door #19 and check in at the door! We had 31 wrestlers in the room last week, and looking to smash that number this Wednesday! BRING A TEAMMATE!!!! 7 WEEKS UNTIL FR/GR State!!!!!

Wrestlers and Coaches, Freestyle and Greco season is here! We will be trying to host a free workout each Wednesday from 6-7:30pm here at OCHS up until FR/GR State on May 10th. We will be trying to bring in a different clinician each week and will announce on Thursdays prior. Next week, we'll host coach Spencer Adams of Taylor County! Details are in the flyer. Be sure your USA card is up to date as we'll be checking these at the door! This is a "no strings attached" opportunity for anyone that wants to work hard and get better! Come and join us!!!!! Coaches, parents, fans, wrestlers: Pools for the 2024 Oldham Superduals are set and you can view in the attachment if interested. As well, for all spectators, just a reminder that the admission gate is cashless and a ticket link can be found below for purchase. Your tickets will be accessible on your phone, so make sure you have this handy upon arrival. Wrestling should begin at 9:00am with the final round starting around 2:30-3:00pm. Coaches, Please consider attending this event! It is a great opportunity provided by the NWCA. It is built in to our KYWCA Coaches Clinic weekend already. Even if you cannot attend the Saturday Clinic with Coach Keal, you may still attend this one. There is a registration link and flyer attached. This will be another excellent opportunity for networking and gaining information/advice on program building etc... Coach Danny Struck (Gold Level Certified Coach from Jeff High) will be leading the event and I believe Bellarmine will also wrestle Kent State that day at Bellarmine. So, maybe another opportunity to enjoy some great wrestling too! Coaches, This happens every year at the beginning of the season as many new coaches at the HS level are unfamiliar with the weigh-in process and the OPC system. There are two links below to help you with this process. The first link is how to add an event to your schedule inside the OPC system. The second link shows you how to generate your weigh-in sheet for that event. Note, if your team has not conducted the Body Fat Assessment yet and entered your roster in the OPC, you will not be able to generate a weigh-in sheet. If you have questions about the latter, you should contact your athletics director immediately. I hope this helps someone! 40+ in the OCHS room tonight! Wrestlers from OC, South O., Central Hardin, John Hardin, Moore, and St.X! Already looking forward to next week!

Coaches & Wrestlers: Next Wednesday, March 15th Oldham Co. HS will be hosting the first RTC Workout. 5:00-6:30pm in the OCHS wrestling room. These workouts will rotate between OCHS and St. Xavier HS. Last spring we had wrestlers from all over attend these workouts including Oldham, North Oldham, St. X, Trinity, Fern Creek, Southern, Male, Moore, PRP, LaRue, and Spencer County. These workouts are absolutely free and a great opportunity for wrestlers in our area to get on a wrestling mat in the off-season. Workouts are open to all MS and HS wrestlers. Wrestlers must have a current USAW membership (all MS wrestlers should have these already. HS wrestlers may need to renew). Coaches invited as well!
