Anklepick 1 Report post Posted January 18, 2010 John Hardin Finished 7th overall as a team. There were some great teams at this tournament. Parkland from North Carolina has won 133 consecutive duals and were State Champions as a team last year. They came in 2nd behind Christian Brothers from Memphis who were unbelievable.Johnson and Frost both had some great championship matches. Johnson wrestled a animal from Christian Brothers winning 2-1.Frost beat a hoss from Parkland in the Semi's and beat a tough Heavy from Science Hill in the finals. All in all in was a very competitive tournament held at a awesome facility. Science Hill campus is like a college and the arena we wrestled in was similar to the Frankfort Convention Center.
stand-up 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2010 As Science Hill Grad I'm glad to hear they are putting on such a competitive tournament. The campus is awesome, I moved there as a freshman from PRP and was completely wowed by the place. The wrestling team is much better than when I wrestled there. I'm trying get North a spot in the tournament next year, just gotta sell Coach Faulk on the idea.
