Guest specialist Report post Posted February 1, 2006 I say your right "worker", it looks like the 103 is stacked. Looks like most are experienced wrestlers, and which will come out on top will be interesting to see. They should have some final-like matches in the 2nd round. I predict they Fahy boys will win, as well as Johnson @ 110. The 89 and 96 class should also be fun to watch. I have never seen Alig on the mat so that one is hard to tell, which may be the way they want to keep it until Feb 5th.

wrestle30 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2006 I think the James kid from McCreary has a chance to place in the top 4. I have seen him wrestle and he has beaten some of the top competitors at 131 and at 140. If he wrestles to his full potential he could place 2nd or even 1st! By the way what is the name of the mccreary kid that wrestles 185, he is a beast. I think he will probly win state as well!
plee 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2006 103 1. TJ Bates (Conner) 2. Tommy Warren (Fern Creek) 3. Josh Alig (Gray) are u joking Tj bates didnt even get first in his region i highly doubt he will win state running the gauntlet - it wouldn't be the first time a kid took 2nd in region & won state....it has happened MANY times in the h.s. level. BIGFAN 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2006 What about this Newberry kid @ 150 from Larue. Only lose of the year @150 was 6-4 in regional final. I think he is only a 6th grader? Does he have a chance of placing?
wrestletime 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2006 Have Slone and Ohlman (117) met up this year? If so, what was the result? Has Slone had any close matches at all this year? What makes him so good (never seen him) - strength, quickness, technique, heart? Or all of the above?

wrestle30 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2006 Devin James took 4th at regions. I heard he had a stomach flu that day. All I know is I have seen him beat and pin some of the guys who have placed 2nd and 3rd in other regions so I know he can wrestle and if you underestimate him you will be counting lights. Good luck to everyone this weekend!
Cougarwrestler 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2006 monkeyroll your nuts. First of all Bates has been beat twice this year by Alig. Lee will most likely pin his way to the finals. Bradburry is easily the best wrestler at his weight class. Bradburry has all ready beat Padden i think twice. Your over looking Watson at 82 to. At 150 Pugh should find himself in the finals only loosing two matches all season one from OH one by Lee. Lee will be in the finals along with Pugh and Watson. dscicle 6 Report post Posted February 2, 2006 #1: Bradbury has only beaten Paden 4-1, not exactly convincing. #2: Bradbury has to beat Stout from Bourbon before making the finals. Watson has to beat Salyers from Johnson Central in the semis.
DumpTruck 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2006 I think 82 will be fun this weekend. I look forward to it.
Cougarwrestler 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 How is 4-1 not convincing he only scored 1 point that means he did not score one take down. Bradburry beat Watson 4-3 Watson gave up one lock hands and let him go w/ 6 seconds left.
UCwrestler09 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 bradbury has wrestled watson twice. the first time the score was 4-3 the second time they both bumped up to 89 and bradbury beat him 6-2 i think. bradburys only two losses are to a kid from reitz indiana and a kid from claymont (cleaveland) Ohio. Cougarwrestler...you're about as big of a homer as woodford99 is on here, you're always talking about Conner this, Conner that...how about letting your kids do the talking on the mat. Cougarwrestler 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 I will handle issues with Pionner_Pride later. The only thing I hear him talking about are the Lee brothers. Who are they?? wolverine 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2006 trevor frietsch will win the 45 or 50 pound weight class clay brown or garth will win the 75 pound class and kevin cooper might win the 103 pound weight class
Rick Vaughn Sr. 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2006 I think Trevor, Clayton, and Kevin have a chance to win at whatever weight they are in. I know Trevor is leaps-and-bounds ahead of all kids his age in physical abilities, the only way he loses is if someone several years older than him falls into the same class, Clayton just needs to mature, Kevin needs to watch his cockiness,,, this a late post, waited for more signs
refdad 3 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Rick Vaughn Sr....I am assuming these kids that you are talking about are all from Twenhofel. Who is Trevor you are referring to? What weight class did he wrestle last year? How did he do at Middle School State?
