OK John Hardin is the favorite team. Somebody give me individuals. List the top 2 in each weight class. What do you think the region finals will look like.

Somebody put out some names. Let us know who we should be watching. I'll start who can challenge Mark Jones @ 189? Give me the top 2 or 3 at each weight.

Can somebody out there give us a ranking for Region 2. Seems lke there is going to be a lot of new faces/names? Is this the year somebody tops Larue County? They are not getting much love.

I know for sure Brent Hitchins, Caleb Irvin, J.J Jude & Drew Newberry were named All American. It was based on record. Drew Newberry led the team with only 1 loss. He went 6-1 with 1 win being by forfeit. Everybody else had at least 2 losses but all in all it was a good showing for Team Kentucky. We are not at the Jordan level yet but we are gaining ground.

The results for the 1st. Texas Dual is incorrect at 180 & 195. The wrestlers switched. Powell was pinned by Texas at 180& Newberry bumped up to 195 & Pinned his opponent. The future looks bright for Team Kentucky.5 All Americans & 4 are 7th Graders..

What about this Newberry kid @ 150 from Larue. Only lose of the year @150 was 6-4 in regional final. I think he is only a 6th grader? Does he have a chance of placing?

Sounds to me like wrestling stories make good print and win awards! Why would a paper want to run those kinds of stories? What ever happened to reporting? LaRue County had FULL gym on Saturday for Middle School Regions. All day. The crowd at a wrestling match will always be equal to or bigger than a basketball,softball or baseball game. Maybe the reason behind no stories in The News Enterprise is nobody there likes this sport. The Hearld News in Hodgenville runs at least 1/2 page each week. Are these two papers not owned by the same people. Stories can not be shared across these papers? Do not put all the blame on Coaches, Let somebody at News Enterprise do their job.

What returning Champs stand the best chance of being upset? What weight class & who will beat them?

What grade are the Paden & Newberrry boys in. I Know the Trinity boys are the grade & defending state champs. Did the Trinity boys dominate or do the Larue boys have a chance at state

Any word on how this turned out? Any surprises?

The Middle School State is At Central Hardin again. The date is Feb. 4th. The Elementary was at LaRue last year. Have not heard anything,maybe some Larue County people Know.
