Charger Coach 14 Report post Posted February 5, 2007 It's very unlikely DeShon will crack the top 4 @ 145. It's not impossible, but very unlikely. As for 103, Davison from Doss could place as high as 2nd or not be in the top 4 at all. As long as he keeps from locking his hands, he'll be fine. He got DQ'd against Huffine for locking hands too many times. He lost to Maupin the first time they met b/c he locked hands three different times. He gave up 4 points on locked hands & the final score was 9-8. The 2nd time they met, he lost 16-15 in a great match. As for Cosgrove, it's not out of the question to think he can reach the finals and win it. It's also not out of the question to think he could finish out of the top 4 & not go to state. I think the 135 weight class is that even. Obviously Walls is the favorite but I know both Hunter & Aaron wrestled him close and if either one of them get a chance at him, with one or two breaks, who knows. Kreutzer will be the wild card in this weight class. We will all get to see who was right & who was wrong in 5 days. Good luck everybody. I know after this weekend, I'll be rooting for all of you that make state to represent Region 3 well. We need it!
