DrBaker 497 Report post Posted April 20, 2018 Part of being on a good team is to do your part or fulfill a roll. At Union, we have a few solid guys that have to do that. Dalton Russellburg had to wrestle JV behind Saul and Trevor Pogue had to move up to 145. The real guy this post is about is Chase Yost. He could have wrestled 126 and might have won a state title, but he left that spot for tucker to win his. He could have tried 132 against Moore, but he left that spot for Cardwell. Instead, he took one for the team to try out a weight with arguably the best wrestler in the state and met him in the finals. Pretty sure hes the only one in Ky to score an offensive point against Saul. Props to Yost.
charger 105 Report post Posted April 24, 2018 Chase is a very hard working young man. He has earned every bit of his success! Back in October he didn’t hesitate to accept the challenge against Trent Johnson at the All Star Classic at 141. Yost is a competitor, that’s for sure.
