Shout out to the boys who went up to the grappler! This tourney is a true meat grinder. Zane Brown won a couple matches as a freshman, Ryan Moore-6th, Keegan Duncan-2nd, Derek Smallwood-6th, Jonathan Little-7th. Moore pushed a nationally ranked kid to a 1 point match and darn near had him. Duncan beat a D1 commit and a FL state champ. Smallwood and Little beat some very tough kids as well. Blake Roth was injured and had to stop, but he would have done some damage too. Great to see KY wrestlers getting it done at high caliber national tournaments!

All-star matches are very common. In the preseason we have had the NWCA All-Star Match for a very long time for college and Flo has created the High School version with WNO. Postseason you have Dapper Dan and the Dream Team Classic which have decades of history between them. Just because it is new to Kentucky doesn't mean there is no precedent.
