3  Tyler Grimm JC  4--0

Is that 40-0

:|

If so why, woundn't he be the #1 Seed:

I know both Ohlman and Demery have lost :-o

1  Grant Ohlmann 12 TRI    ??-??        Loss to Johnson 152 and ??

2  Terrance Demery 12 NH  34-1        Loss to Irvin 140

Now watch this event get cancelled because of pending weather :-o

Grimm has been out all season untill last week, so probably is  4-0.

I remember him from state last year realy tough kid:

He lost a close match to Thomson 5-4 and Kiper 4-3.

He has been out with an injury and is 4-0.  He's obviously a great wrestler - that's why he is seeded 3rd.  Hard to justify seeding him ahead of the other two at this time.

My understanding is we will have the tournament with whomever shows up, but I don't anticipate (m)any cancellations.  Sounds like Johnson Central is already in town.  We don't want them traveling two weeks in a row without wrestling!

Come out and enjoy some wrestling if you're in the local area.

How did they come up with these seeds considering that there are kids with better records and ranked higher...with lower seeds than the kids ranked lower with worse records

loufan- head to head records.  The coaches all approved the seeds. Win/ loss records are great, but head to head is what matters.  In the absence of head to head, common opponants, in the absence of that records and past performance.

We are a go for tommorow.
