wristandahalf 1 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 70 - Hard to tell - Probably someone from Northern KY - there are some tough kids up there75 - Bindner followed by Skaggs and Barton82 - No one has beaten Erdman yet this year gotta go with him for the top spot89 - A lot of parity in this weight class - so far haven't seen anyone jump to the top96 - Brown and Blackwell - Shirkey the sleeper103 - Ervin on top, J. Lampe and Kahl a tossup for 2 and 3. If I were in this weight class I would do all I could to up or down.110 - Fausz - Rusch is tough but may go down to a stacked 103 weight class117 - FahyHaven't seen or heard of anyone from Eastern or Southern areas. Johnson Central and Wayne always bring quality kids as do others. Just haven't heard anything on them yet.

Perez 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 I hear Brown is wrestling 103. Any truth to this?Actually my son and i were talking to clay saturday at Tates Creek he is weighing 102 and he said he was trying too hard to put weight on for varsity to cut it for middle school state. He said he was looking forward to getting a shot at Ervin and Lampe, I dont see this kid dodging anyone. I still give the nod to ervin, but brown is looking very solid and is capable of pulling an upset.
wristandahalf 1 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 1 more reason to avoid going 103 - This weight class looks to be as tough as last years 103.
Perez 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 which one is tougher ? this year or last year. this is last years varsity rankings, which excludes logan wedding, i believe he would of been top 3 high school last year, canter would of held his own but not top 10 . so that leaves 2 possible state placers with wedding and willin. 103 1 Tri John Fahy 92 Lar Co Nick Paden 93 Wood Co Robert Bracco 114 PD Pat Milford 115 Un Co Neal Reburn 126 Ryle TJ Ruschell 97 Sen Kary Goff 128 UH Wade Willen 89 Meade Dillon Pike 1110 TC Brandon Abney 10here is last years state high school placers - Place Winners - - Place Winners - 1st John Fahy TRIN (9) 5- 0 5th Kary Goff SENA (12) 6- 2 2nd Pat Milford PDUN (11) 4- 1 6th Garth Yenter CACO (9) 5- 3 3rd Nick Paden LARU (9) 5- 1 7th Robert Bracco WOOD (11) 5- 2 4th TJ Ruschell RYLE (9) 4- 2 8th Wade Willen UHA (8) 3- 3now this year you have multiple top ranked 8th graders and we are missing lampe and kuhl. 103 1 PD Pat Milford 122 Cam Co Garth Yenter 103 Un Co Brock Ervin 84 Laf Luke Rearic 95 Lar Co Spencer Hines 96 NO Mitch Rusch 87 PRP Bryce Payton 108 UH Trae Blackwell 89 Ryle Gus Adams 10 Walt Clay Brown 8i believe this year has the potential to be the toughest in a while if kids stay at 103. dont count out soriano from bourbon either as a placer at 103 middle school.
