Age Groups:A wrestler’s age on the date of the qualifying tournament will determine his/her’s age group for that particular tournament.

If a wrestler should be 12 years old now and turns 13 before the Border Wars National Championships and qualifies in the 11&12 age group, then that wrestler will have to participate in the 2006 Border Wars Championships at the 13&14 age group. This is the same for all age groups! Wrestlers will need to produce a valid verification of age if questioned within the first two rounds of competition.

Age Groups – 11&12, 13&14, 15&18: three 1 ½ minute periods

** Singlet or shorts & shirts are required! Headgear recommended.

11&12: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 126, 133, HWT. (limit 200 lbs.)

13&14: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 107, 114, 122, 130, 138, 145, 155, 170, HWT. (limit 255 lbs.)
