heavy83 15 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 I'M A NEW REF WAS CURIOUS IF I UNDERSTAND THE DISK FLIP AT THE BEGINNG OF THE MEET. MAINLY WANTING TO CLARIFY WHICH TEAM IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE THEIR WRESTLER REPORT FIRST. I READ IT AS WHICHEVER TEAM HAS CHOICE ALSO HAS TOHAVE THEIR'S REPORT FIRST. I WAS READING RULE 6-2-2. ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED.
CoachK 2 Report post Posted December 18, 2008 If the team that gets the choice chooses even, their wrestlers are "supposed" to report first to the scorers table on the even number matches, 2,4,6 etc. If they chose odd then they would report first on the odd numbered, 1, 3, 5 etc. More often than not it doesn't happen like that and it's just a random who gets there first type thing and usually only used as determining whose choice it is in the second period. Hope that helps.

Ranger123 43 Report post Posted December 18, 2008 Yeah, the only time reporting really comes into play is in a close dual when coaches start moving the lineup around. Then it is important to make the other coach show his hand first at the appropriate time.
