Ranger123 43 Report post Posted June 13, 2017 Great weekend for the Schoolboy team! Going 5-2 was partially a function of some kids wrestling great and showing we are making progress on the freestyle front, but also a huge part of our success was how hard these boys competed every dual. I've been coaching these MS level teams for a number of years and this is such a hard weekend of wrestling. Not only are we matching up with the best kids from around the USA, but we are competing in styles that we are vastly less experienced with. Each of these boys deserves a tremendous pat on the back for participating and helping to show that KY is improving even in the Olympic styles. 77 - Spencer Moore (All tournament team) 84 - Jayden Frazier 91 - Isham Peace 98 - Bryant Beane 105 - Asher Jones-Powers 112 - JT King 120 - Kolby Koepp 136 - Joel Hatchett (All tournament team) 152 - Seth Slayton (All tournament team) 160 - Ben Rush 175 - Uriah Verzi 190 - Paul Brown Big thanks to the coaches who did a great job encouraging and teaching the kids all weekend. These our guys are committed to helping push wrestling forward in KY if we will get on board. Thank you Coach Livingston, Coach Wilbourn, and Coach Landals for coaching this team to our state's best finish ever. Also thanks to the parents supporting this team. Especially those wonderful parents who brought in lunch for the team on Sunday!
